I am a red head. Due to getting older I do not want gray hair. I have been coloring my hair for a few years now and when I went to the store to use I thought I would try your product. I bought color kit R68 ruby rush. This morning I used your product and it turned my hair pink. Yes pink. I am not one of these people who walk around with rainbow hair. If a product says it will be RUBY RUSH, which is regular red hair that's what I expect especially when the product is the most expensive on the shelf. NOT PINK. AND HOT PINK AT THAT.

It's my fault the color didn't turn out the color I thought it would. My hair has been professionally colored black before and I have been maintaining it until felt the need to change it myself with no luck. So my hair is actually taking another is less than likely, especially a home color. Though, I must say that I've used Feria in the past and hated the way it smelled and made my hair feel. I purchased this color after using another popular box dye for several years. Deciding to try lightening my hair (going from a medium brown to a lighter color), I liked what I saw with Feria and decided to give it a go. I'm a "read directions" kind of girl. So I spread out the directions, read over application and timing instructions, mixed, and applied as the box instructed. I patiently waited, careful not to drip dye all over my bathroom and upon the end of the allotted time, dutifully rinsed my hair, applied the conditioning treatment, blow dried, and straightened my hair. I was shocked to look in the mirror and see the exact same color I started with. No lightening. No difference. Time and money down the drain with no results to come of it. I don't recommend Feria to anyone and would suggest going with another brand...any other brand... throw some koolaid in a jug and dye your hair with that before using Feria.

This absolutely does not have any shade of purple in it! I have always used the Splat purple desire for my hair but decided to go with another brand, this brand, after recently hearing how Splat damages your hair. . This made my hair a dark black color! No purple visible at all. While the texture is great, it did make my hair softer, it is a true black, which is not at all what the box color showed. Very disappointed! I will not buy this product again..

great color, washes out every wash. love the brand and the colors! no matter what color I use, they don't cover Grey's well or last too long. like initially right after coloring, the Grey's are covered but every time I wash my hair, color comes out and I have to recolor every 3 weeks. I use great products for colored hair and take hair skin and nails pills everyday. says permanent color, it shouldn't wash out color every hair wash like it has been.

I'd suggest if you have medium to long hair get two boxes, my hair is around 3 inches below my shoulders and sadly it wasn't enough to cover all of my hair. Other than that the color is amazing and I'd highly recommend it if your going for a light grey pastel look.

I really love this color. I have been dyeing my hair a bright, coppery auburn for months, but I realized that it wasn't my color so I wanted it darker. Upon drying my hair, I saw that it gave me a beautiful brunette and when reflected in sunshine, there were gorgeous auburn highlights. One thing I didn't enjoy so much was the condition it put my hair into. Half of my hair is previously bleached, damaged hair and normally other dyes nourish my damaged ends, but this one brought out the damage even more. It took me a couple days to get my ends feeling less damaged. Other than that, beautiful color result, I'll definitely use it again despite the fact that I have to cope with the damage it brings out.

My hair is naturally dark brown, After coloring with Downtown Brown, my hair is still dark brown with a reddish tint. Not at all even remotely close to the color on the box. I am very disappointed with this product, which is supposed to be specially formulated for dark hair.

The shade is Deepest Violet (V28), it is a black violet that is recommended for those whose hair is already medium to dark brown with a cool undertone to their complexion. It is a permanent hair color with a color booster to keep the brass away and extent your results. The gel formula made application super easy with minimal mess, and the conditioner that's included leaves your hair silky soft. I will say that the results were subtle but pretty on my hair, just a bit of rich purple when the light hits. I didn't notice fading until week 5, and the fade is gradual and pleasing, no wonky green or gray issues. I definitely recommend these kits if you're looking for something fun for the fall or holidays.
