[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love the Johnson and Johnson baby lotions in our house so much! It's one of my favorite scents for baby products and we love how great it works!! It's so long lasting, and I personally like the flip top compared to pumps and lids like BBW has because lotion doesn't dry and get stuck when you try to use it. My kids are so sensitive to lotions/soaps but Johnson and Johnson's never caused any breakouts or skin irritation!!

I am highly disappointed it the new smell of the johnsons baby lotion. People buy this lotion because of its classic smell, the smell of all of our childhoods!! This new formula smells like a gerneric brand that I would never buy. I am very sensitive to smells and have used this lotion for 15+ years because it does not leave my skin feeling oily, and the old scent did not give me a migraine. Super disappointed!!

I have been using J&J baby lotion for over 35 years and I cannot believe the new unpleasant scent. I was relieved to see other people didn't like it also ; it's almost sweet but spoiled. Please figure out a way to bring the original scent back and keep it safe for babies and adults.

I have been using the Johnson's iconic pink baby lotion for as long as I can remember. My boyfriend has as well, we use it on our child and I buy it as a gift for every baby shower I attend. It is a staple in our home and is in every travel toiletrie bag. I recently purchased a new bottle and thought that perhaps just the packaging had changed. Upon opening the bottle of lotion I immediately realized a difference in color & smell and soon thereafter noticed a lack of softness once I applied. I am grateful that I opened and tried the lotion first being that my boyfriend and child have incredibly sensitive skin and are prone to rashes and breakouts. Not only are we completely unhappy with the change in formula but also very frustrated with the fact that there was no clear warning that I was purchasing a completely different product. Had it been used on my child first and a breakout or rash occurred I would have been devasted. We hope you bring back the old/original lotion for those that were happy with it, used it for decades and used it especially for sensitive skin. I do not want to bash your new product as I am sure there are some people who are content with it. Hopefully your company can be successful selling both products, being that they are 2 distinctly different products. I would also ask that you clarify, with packing, which product is which. We intend to be loyal costumers but may be forced to go with something different. Thank you for allowing us to address our concerns. And to be frank, please do not reply with an automated message asking me to call an 800 number unless you plan to rectify this mishap with my family personally. My email address has been attached.

My daughter received some hand-me-down baby clothes from a friend who had laundered them in a detergent with a strong scent which was objectionable to my daughter. Not everyone appreciates strong scents. I remembered the soothing Johnson & Johnson's baby lotion I used on my nieces and nephews and my own children. Thinking this would be a soothing scent for our new grandbaby, I purchased the Johnson's baby lotion with the pink container. It is SO strongly scented that I couldn't even wash the scent off my own hands! The scent was not the one I remembered. Now I see that Johnson's HAS changed their scent. I am glad to see that I am not the only person who objects to this revised product. What I would like to know is where I can find the original scented lotion. I wonder if the positive reviews are for a different scent than the one in the pink container. I don't want our baby to smell like Lilac or Coconut... I want her to smell like a baby---the way my children did.

I recently purchased this lotion and it does not smell or moisturize like the one that I have been using for the past 20+ years. The smell is horrible and the lotion feels watery. I hope Johnson & Johnson will go back to their old baby lotion,unfortunately until then I will not be purchasing this lotion again :(

Not happy at all with the NEW Shea& cocoa baby lotion. Too much fragrance which I am allergic to. The original Shea and cocoa butter lotion are the best and so disappointed that it has been discontinued!!! Why why do you have to change it???!!! The new ingredient have less Shea and cocoa butter in it! Please bring back the original!!!!

I have used this lotion for years. But with the new pump/top on the 27.1 FL OZ, once the pump can't reach the lotion, you have alot of lotion left at the bottom that of course you don't want to waste but there is no way to get the top off. I end of having to cut the bottle with scissors. Shouldn't have to do that and shouldn't have to waste the rest of the lotion!

Once again, here's yet another company that supposedly “fixed” a product that wasn't broken. New formula isn't as good as the original formula. The new bottle design doesn't fit in my toiletry travel bag pocket & the top can't be removed to use all of the product. And big surprise, another price hike! Obviously J&J does not value their customers who have been loyal to their products for many decades. Bring back the original formula & bottle, as well as the Aloe & Vitamin E formula. The current varieties are too fragrant for anyone with a sensitive nose (allergies).

Recently ran out of the original baby lotion and had to get more. Thought only the look changed but to my surprise it was a new smell and feel. The feel is heavier than the original the scent isn't pleasant at all. Had I known there was a change I would not have purchased this new bottle. I wish I could get reimbursed bc there is no indication on the front of the bottle to let consumers know that the formula was changed. Go back to the old formula this new one is not pleasant at all signed a dissatisfied customer
