Worth the Hype really delivers high impact volume with a low impact price tag. The formula is great and non flaking. It does take a little time to dry down but multiple coats and great volume are easily achieved. I adore the wand applicator and found it easy to use and really does get all your lashes with the dense brush style. I only wish it was waterproof - as by the end of the day it does have a slight tendency to smudge by the end of the day or if you're exercising. Overall - very impressed!

For the past month I've been using the NYX Worth the Hype volumizing & lengthening mascara & my overall impression is good. It is just not for me. I have Asian eye lashes (short, straight, will not hold a curl etc.) & therefore I am very particular with my lashes. Pros: - Lengthens my lashes. - Did not smudge or flake - Great price point. Cons: - The colour pigment is not dark & rich enough. I need my mascara to be the blackest black - Minimal volumizing. I had to put on 4 coats to get the volume that I wanted but I had to sacrifice the lift / curl as my lashes would droop. - It didn't give the "Ooopf" factor

I’ve been wearing it everyday fora month and here’s what I’ve concluded: Great formula; not to watery but not to thick Easy to wipe off at the end of the day Does exactly as advertised - volumize and lengthens. I’ve been asked several times where I bought my lashes and every time I raved about my mascara. Def a holy grail for my everyday look. The wand is also amazing at getting those lower lashes!!

When I received this mascara, I was a little cautious. I’ve stuck with a few ol’ faithful mascaras, so this was a venture outside the norm. I really like it a lot though! It separates and defines so much. It lengthens a little bit, but I usually wear false lashes with my mascara, so that is a moot point. It works well with the falsies I wear!! I am a tried & true NYX lip product believer, so I was very excited to be able to try their mascara. The brush itself was great, the ideal shape for lengthening & creating that cat-eye lash.... but I wasnt thrilled enough with the product to say that’d I’d buy it. It went on, and looked very dry. Clumpy isnt the word- more like starchy. It looked I was trying to get away with yesterday’s mascara. I gave t a few tries, even attempted to really mix it up, but no luck. The beauty of a sample is I am still open to trying out NYX’s mascaras, but as of now, would not spend my money on it.

No flaking or fading, almost no clumping despite three layers. The brush managed to coat every lash, very nice especially on the bottom lashes. They stayed very soft but lost a bit of curl. Firstly, it should not be flakey and clump my eyelashes together, and second is that it should give me natural look as opposed to dramatic look most mascara give. I am happy to say "NYX Worth The Hype Mascara" won me over on these 2 expectations. Yes, it does tend to smudge a bit when applying, but if you apply it with extra care you can very well prevent that. With just one coat this mascara made my lashes fuller and longer, very natural I would say. I tried to put on a second coat, just to see how it would look, and I can say it didn’t overdo it….Happy me! It was so gentle on my eyes and did not cause any irritation. My lashes did not appear heavy even with mascara on, which I normally experience with other brand. The best thing is the brush that doesn’t take out too much product, and distribute it evenly on the lash giving more natural look. And it did not flake after drying up. Formula is dryer than what I expected but that doesn't seem to be a bad thing. Very little transfer to my eyelid when applying which is another usual issue for me because of my eye shape. The brush is rather thick so people with small eyes may have issues applying this. I received this product for free from my Influenster box and will definitely buy it when I run out.
