I have followed my vet's and Purina's instructions for feeding and in that time I have not had an overweight dog, nor a bad expierence with Purina products. My dogs usually live to age 14 or 16 and die peacefully at home, while my kids and I hold their head and paws and cry a flood. Would I recomend Purina Dog Chow? Just ask me and see haw fast you get a yes.

Every so often she will eat all but the brownish pieces, those she will leave for me in piles scattered around the house. The other dog likes these and he will eat them if I pretend they are treats.

I have used Purina before and knew it was good, the only differnce is this one did make my pup a little gassy. Otherwise it was just fine.

I bought the Purina Puppy Chow Complete for my little pug! He really loves it the small morsels are really great for his little teeth! He eats the whole bowl THIS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE! HE ATE THE WHOLE BOWL! ITS GREAT! AND VERY HEALTHY FOR HIM! I RECOMMEND PURINA PUPPY CHOW COMPLETE TO EVERYONE!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 6 month old corgi puppy Waffles is a rather picky eater. We have tried 4 other dry puppy foods & I have always had to mix in a couple of Tbs. of (Purina) soft caned puppy food to get him to eat the dry food. I don't have to do that with the Purina Puppy Chow dry food, he is perfectly happy to just eat the kibble no toppings/mix-ins needed.

I feel like if I was going to switch her food I would choose this brand. I have an adult dog at home along with our puppy, so we have discussed possibly switching to the adult dog food “dog chow” once the puppy is old enough.

Sadly, she has recently grown out of the puppy phase, so we will not be purchasing this, but i would definitely recommend to other puppy owners!

About 3 months ago I took in 3 dogs that I found in the woods. Little did I know that the female was about 4-5 weeks pregnant. A few weeks later she delivered 6 puppies. I was shocked as she is a Chiweenie and very small. Unfortunately 1 passed at 13 days old. The 5 remaining puppies are now almost 7 weeks old and tiny (smallest 1.15 lbs and largest 2.8 lbs). I have never had puppies so tiny so I asked the vet what to feed them and was surprised and happy when they said moistened Puppy Chow. I have always fed my bigger dogs Dog Chow and my dogs have always been healthy and lived long lives. Trust me when I say, they eat for as little as they are and are full of energy. Purina has never let me down with Dog Chow and now with Puppy Chow. Thank you for providing a healthy food that is affordable.

I've been using puppy chow for my puppies for the last 33 years. I also feed it to my females before puppies are born and while they are nursing puppies. It is natural for the puppies to start eating from mom's dish. Makes for a natural transition for the puppies.
