I set it on my coffee table and when I got back to the family room my German sheapard had already found it and was trying to unbox it for me. Needless to say she loved it and I already bought her a large bag at the store. Would deffently recommend this to other dog families

They didn't gobble it down like they do with wet food, but they didn't turn their noses up, either. It includes DHA from fish oil to help their developing brains, so that's a plus. I always want them to get foods that will keep them healthy. Overall good product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purina Pupoy Chow Complete has all the nutrients my puppy needs as he grows, and he seems to enjoy eating it. It does not upset his stomach like some food has in the past, and he is always eager for meal time.

Since 1977 I have purchased Purina Puppy Chow for my puppies. I continue to do so as they are healthy, with shiny coats and good growth. My current pup, a Black Lab, will be transitioning to Purina Dog Chow in the next couple of weeks. He will join another older Lab in eating Purina Chow. I always buy Puppy Chow until they are at least a year old and then change. I have had excellent results with it and the breeders I buy from recommend Purina. I will continue to use this product on any future pups.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my free sample of Puppy Chow Real Chicken and Rice from Pinchme.com just in time to feed my 10 month old Rottweiler Fiona. Fiona was excited and chose to eat the Puppy Chow immediately before her regular brand. She is a large breed dog so the sample was a bit shy of her meal requirements. Because she seemed to like it I have since purchased the Puppy Chow for her and will likely stay with it. Aside from fulfilling most of her nutrition requirements I appreciate that it smells more like real food and does not have the offensive cardboard dog food odor. The only improvements I can think of is that it would be wonderful if they made Puppy Chow with large breed puppies in mind.

The first bag (Amazon) I bought was good, I had no problems with good size for its prize and everything. But ever since I have bought 5 bags. 3 (Walmart) and 2 (WinCo) and all 5 of them must of been from a different folio then the first one because the smell makes me want to throw up every time. The expiration date is a full year from now so its not that. I know dog food has a specific smell that is not very likeable but this smell I cant even. I fell bad for my dogs that not only they have to smell it with 10x more power to it. But to eat it. They leave the food alone for several hours i would imagine they dont eat it until they are absolutely hungry. Thankfully I'm on the last bag and I'll be switching dog food very soon. Hopefully this review will motive you to improve on the stench of the product. My first thought was that the bag was expired and rotten. 5 bags later I dont know what to think other that that's the smell it always has had. Which is a shame.
