Until now it has been nearly impossibly to maintain the lines of my beard or trim the edges below my lips to give my goatee the best shape. This little trimmer is the BEST! Now I can trim with precision! Not the best for shaving my cheeks and neck, but I'm good with this. I can always use my razor for that anyway.

This razor can get as close as five-oclock-shadow. If you want a perfectly smooth close shave, then you'll need to use a blade. This gets close enough for me, and it is so quick and easy and painless. If I decide not to shave for five days, I can be done with the One Blade in less than a couple minutes, going against the grain, super close and easy. Perfect for someone who hates to shave and doesn't mind a bit of shadow. Does not irritate my sensitive skin.

I was a bit skeptical at first thought wanted to get this product. have to wait for a while to get. Now i just love every feature of this shaver. But it would be better if it really totally doing a clean shaved like a traditional shaver blade, but it was reasonable enough,I'm happy with the results.

This shaver is ideal for me because I only shave once a week or even two weeks. So, when I leave the house, I have grown quite a beard. During the summer months especially when it is really hot, 100+ degrees, after showering and ridding my body of all oils, I then use the Philips/Norelco OneBlade using long strokes from the bottom of my neck all the way up to the top of my cheek or bottom lip. In one sweep, that one stroke cleanly shaves every hair like mowing grass in a field. There is no going back but I do the next stroke with about a 10 percent overstroke to insure of not missing any part of my throat or face. It even works well on my upper lips which is definitely a short stroke. After I have finished, if I am not going out, I am left with a very unnoticeable stubbled shave. If I do need a "baby-butt" close shave, then I do a quick wet shave with a razor and gel which takes about two extra minutes and I'm finished. But for the "no one's going to see me or the everyday shave" the OneBlade is all I need for a close shave like what I call a morning "razor and gel" shave at 1500 hours--just beginning to stubble.

I love the one blade razor. Before I would shave with a standard razor and shaving cream but it left alot of irritation. I used electric razor but they often left patches of hair and also irritated my skin. The one blade gives me no irritation because the blade is flat and doesn't scratch against my skin. It leaves a smooth shave that is very close to the soon but does turn into 5 o clock shadow as the day progresses. Well worth it for no irritation. The handle could use a battery indicator and the one blade is small so it takes a while to shave my whole face. But overall great!

After a months use, I really like this product. Time will tell how long the blade lasts. Wish there would have been some type of case provided (even if it cost a little more) to hold the charger, extra blade, etc. Could have used an in between sized stubble comb.

I HATE shaving. I'm 63, have always hated it but have to because of previous jobs etc. My neck would break out a day after shaving and take several days to recoup from it. No More! This little shaver shaves close enough to make it look like a close shave. Only thing I'd suggest is having an attachment that gets my mustache/goatee a little shorter.

Allows me to get in closer to the hair under my nose and to be precise with cleaning up the lines along the edges of my beard. Is made for trimming - not shaving daily, unless you have very sparse facial hair. Takes a couple of times to get used to the proper angle to hold the razor and I use the reverse side of the razor for edging my beard with precision. Great purchase. Great product.

The One Blade is easily one of the best trimmers i have ever used. It functions perfectly and it can get almost as close as a real blade if you want short to non existent stubble. The guards work as they should, but i just wish there were more variations and lengths. I also wish it had a slightly pivoting head but its not a very big concern. By its self, it is an attractive product which keeps things minimal. I really love my One Blade.

When I saw The One Blade advertised on TV I was exited at the possibility that this could be the trimmer that I have been wanting for a long time. I ordered one for myself and one for a friend and hoped for the best. As they say, the rest is history. The One Blade out-performanced a rechargeable beard trimmer, an electric razor and even a wet razor. It hods a charge a long time and the blade stays sharp for a long, long time. It fits well in the hand and has two sides to the blade that gets hair coming and going with each stroke. I would certainly recommend this to anyone looking for a tool to trim and maintain the looks of today.
