There is a mild stinging sensation but didn't notice significant plumping effects and was more concerned by warning of not to get the product in your mouth. Due to how sticky and lingering stinging I would not repurchase , however, I do like the color red (more blue red than orange red hue).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried several other plumping lip glosses, and I would say this one is more on the mild side. I like the pigment and the glass is not too sticky. The tingle/burn is not too intense. Very tolerable. I like this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love love love the NYX butter glosses- they are my all time fav! I was so excited to try the duck plump lip plumping but dang did it BURN! I have never had a lip product legit burn (not tingle) but this did and I won't be reaching for it again.

After applying it definitely leaves your lip's pouty/ plump like for some time and gives it a spicy sensation which was super satisfying.

It's less sticky, lasts longer, and is so powerful you shouldn't lick your lips. Sounds disconcerting but I promise it's worth the plump you get.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was thrilled to receive this Duck Plump gloss from Nyx and Influenster! I received the color Hall of Flame. Gorgeous red color. It is a bit sticky, hence I removed a star. Also pretty spicy, but not horrible. Burned more on the outside of my lips than on my actual lips. The color payoff was the most shocking to me, for it to be a gloss. I might enjoy it more layered over a matte red lip. Not sure about the plumping effect because I was scared to leave it on too long lol. If you don't mind the heat, def worth the purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try this to see if it actually produced pumping results. I applied it to one side of my lips and waited for 15 minutes, and while it tingles, I didn't notice any plumping results. It did look pretty though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the clearly spicy plumping gloss! Mine is clear and has no pigment on it, i felt a little tingle on my lips but nothing that would hurt. I did not feel my lips plump at all. Overall is nice gloss that could be wore on top of any pretty lipstick.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My gf has tried out a hand full of lip plumpers and this one sits near the top however the cons she would have to note is that the gloss is a little thicker and stickier than others which brought it down a level in her book and the red is not like the stains rather Christmas bright red (no issue with that, just thought it may have been more like a tint vs full on color). Other than that, the gloss is great. It contains the plumping sting (a guilty pleasure of hers) and a little goes a long ways!
