With that said...I was inevitably lost when I had to wipe it off after having it on for 2 min. I barely had enough time to rub my lips together. It left my mouth red and the after effects stayed for a bit. Not a pleasant feel.

I've tried a ton of plumping products to no avail. This Duck Plump is on a whole other level!!! I literally look like I had lip injections. My top lip didn't look thin even with the flaming red gloss! I could not stop staring at myself in the mirror! Now I can't wait to run out and buy more shades and start wearing lipstick on a regular basis. The tingle factor was not uncomfortable for me. I actually quite like the tingle. It reminds me that my lips look fabulous and that I should smile more. Seriously! YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS STUFF!!! Especially if you have thinner lips!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I did enjoy the color shade of this product and thought that the pigmentation of it lasted for a long time, I didn't see a huge increase in lip size especially considering how much it burned! I've used other brand products that cause much less pain with more payoff which was a bummer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried NYX Duck Plump lip gloss, in the clear shade, ClearlySpicy. The NYX formula uses spicy ginger to give you the plump effect. After applying, it did tingle a bit, which is normal. I found the gloss to be super thick and sticky. It left my lips feeling heavy and cakey. I tried it on top of my regular lipstick and it was a little less sticky and gave a beautiful shine over my lipstick. About 15 minutes after applying, I did notice a slight difference in the fullness of my lips. It comes in this super shine clear color, and 16 other beautifully pigmented shades.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay first off I'm an idiot and ignored the words HIGH PIGMENT when picking a shade. I'm not a red girl (but that's my mistake) and this is still a really pretty, true red. And they do not lie when they say HIGH PIGMENT because the pigmentation on these glosses is out of the park. I like a good plumping effect but for those that aren't as big of fans, this isn't as intense as some of the others because they use ginger to give you that plump. I will say it comes and goes as opposed to feeling it all at once and intensely though, so that might make it more tolerable as well. Despite the gloss being high pigment, it isn't thick, sticky, or goopy. These are easy to apply and do last for a long time, I was really surprised at how much was left after I had dinner. I really like the look and feel of this gloss and went out and picked up a few more everyday shades in Brown of Applause and Nude Swings that I will be wearing on a regular basis. They're gorgeous shades as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed being able to try the NYX Duck Plump in Hall of Flame. The color was gorgeous, a little bit went the longest way and the tingle on your lips is pretty intense but not overly unplesant or unmanageable. Overall id give it a 7.6/10

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nyxcosmetics Duck Plump High Pigment Lip Plumping Gloss features an extreme plumping sensation powered by spicy ginger. The texture is nice, slightly thick, or leaves a barrier type of feeling, which I like in a gloss without feeling overly sticky or oily. However, the sensation does feel spicy. The sensation was as if I ate spicy hotwings and the sauce remained on my lips.The instructions suggested applying on the outline overnight of the lips. I'm unsure that my lips actually plumped, or if it's giving the illusion that they plumped because it was applied over the lip line and are red where it was applied over the line. I do think it plumped slightly, just not intensely. For me, it's just okay. Not awful, not wowed.

I'm not sure how well it works because I couldn't handle the burn. That's right, I can't handle the burn. It also has a taste, which, of course, you don't purposely get it in your mouth. Don't lick your lips.

Red is not my go-to color, but it is a nice shade, especially for the holidays. You will definitely feel the plumping, but it's not uncomfortable. My lips felt moisturized for a long time. I will definitely try this in a different color.
