[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Sally Hansen range is known to be one of the most popular so I was looking forward to using this product for my "something red" for a Red Nose Day fundraiser party. I applied the 2 coats on the Thursday night and was very pleased with the colour and the brush quality. One coat covered the nails sufficiently and the second coat gives definite coverage. I allowed the polish to dry for 10 minutes before applying the top coat. The polish was still tacky even after the length of time it took to dry so that should be noted on the packaging. I work in an office so I'm not hard on my nails however by the Friday afternoon the polish was chipped on various fingers so not the 14 days as promised. I would purchase for the colour and brushes but disappointed as it chips as easily as a normal nail polish.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is definitely the longest lasting gel polish I have used without a lamp however being a busy mum has led to several chips on my nails after 3 days, whereas others can chip within 24 hours. I also used the polish on my toe nails and a week later they are still perfect which is great since I don't often get the chance to do them. This will be perfect for my upcoming holidays without having to pay salon prices! One downside is the gel does take a little while to dry meaning I can't do much for around an hour after it has been applied.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't impressed by the Sally Hansen Duo in Red Eye. The red colour appeared more orange based and the consistency of both polishes were very watery. I didn't agree that the result appeared similar to a gel polish. The polish also chipped very easily therefore it didn't last a few days let alone up to 14! I really did not like the brush and the width of it, I felt difficult getting the brush into the bottle and overall the experience of the polish was poor. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend this product.

I used to do gel nails with lamp and I can say that nails with Saly Hansen Miracle Gel looks absolutely the same as done with lamp. And quality amazing as well! Nail polish didn't chopped for 8 days! That was a big surprise for me! Very recommended product and will definitely buy more colours!

I noticed that it makes my polish stay on much longer, and they have a shiny look as well. I highly recommend this to girls who don't want to spend tons of money on nails.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love nail varnishes!! I work in an office where I am typing a lot and normal varnishes tend to chip the same day as application. I have a UV lamp but takes over an hour sometimes total for the process and I don't want to spend that long every time applying varnish. Application of this product was straightforward but drying time was quite long. The results were good, It had that high shine, ceramic look of real gel polish, so was impressed. As for longevity, It lasted me all week while at work, and was easy too remove. Its not as good as UV, but doesn't take as long a UV either. Its a good substitute if you don't have the time and I loved the nude colour!

I went with “Pinky Promise”. It’s a neutral pink color that is rich and beautiful!! I was skeptical. Just because I’ve always need led a UV light with gel products. But turns out, I LOVE IT!! Takes 2 coats of color but it is soooo worth the extra step in just a 2 step system. So simple and easy! I’ve gotten soooo many compliments! People always asking where I get my nails done. They’re always shocked when I tell them at home and that I use this product!!

I have never tried it as a top coat for regular polishes simply because it is meant to be paired with the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel polishes. This top coat only requires one coat and leaves nails looking shiny. The top coat helps the longevity of the polish underneath.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When i first recieved my parcel i couldnt believe how professional the nail kit looked! It looked really smart and it promised up to 14 days wear. I regularly use gel nail polishes that last roughly 7 days so i was so happy this would last longer. I applied the nail polish as recommended on the box and the finish was amazing! It looked as if i had my nails done at the salon. Very high quality finish with a great shine. Not even 24hours later i noticed the first chip. Then another nail. Then another. By day 5 all my nails had chips and i had to removed the polish as it looked awful. Overall- packaging and finish for first 24 hours great! Not for long time wearing, would perhaps use for the day of party.

I really like this polish. The red is bright and perfect for the holiday season. It only truly lasts about a week (5-7 days) before it starts chipping, but I am okay with that. I use it to get through the work week - I can paint my nails on Sunday and I can get through the week will nice nails. If you like to have your nails painted, this is a great purchase to get long lasting color. I don't know if this polish and the top coat will eventually affect my nails/nail strength, but only time will tell. I'm hoping that because this is a gel color without using a LED light, the damage to my nails won't be so bad.
