I've never used a box dye or dye of any kind. The Schwarzkopf Keratin Color in Cappuccino (the Espresso I ordered was out of stock) was not the most intuitive to use and I was nervous doing so. I only have a smattering of grays I wanted to color. But since my hair is dark, they stand out. It ended up working out ok, and the color matches my natural pretty well. So let's start off with iblokebthe color but for sokenrrasonni thought it would be a bit lighter. I love the fact the box came with oil to add to my ends before processing. The after conditioner well that has enough for two times for me as I have thicker and a bit longer hair. I did end up needing two boxes as one was not enough. The color is absolutely beautiful. Not all of my greys were covered, however I like that it that way. makes it look a little more natural. as for the remajning hair its 100% coverage. Took my lighter color amber to a darker amber. It was also nice to my scalp.

I am learning that as I'm getting older I need a product that will cover my grays but not look like a fake color. I selected the Schwarzkopf intense cocoa keratin color. It came with a conditioner as well, which I have been using overtime and makes my hair really soft. The first couple of days the color was very vibrant and overtime. The color started to dull a bit. Since my gray hair has come in faster and faster these days I think I can get about two months out of this hair color before I have to reapply. I would definitely purchase this again. This kit comes with pre color serum which is a nice addition to the package. This is my first time trying a hair dye with serum. It's for priming and protecting the hair. There's also conditioner which is hydrating and gives my hair a nice shine. The hair dye covers my gray hair very well and one package is enough for my whole hair.
