Okay so it shaves quite well. But it's just another razor with fancy gimmicks that don't work because I can't get the app to work. Quite disappointed considering the price and false promises. I stuck with it so I'll have to just put up with what it is.

I have always used Philip shavers and will continue to do so, they are the best. This is an excellent product and I would have given 5 Stars had it not been for the side trimmer. I found this to be ineffective and nowhere near as good as my previous Philips shaver which I have had for 10yrs. The shave is excellent and close and takes into account sensitive skin. The cleaning system is really effective as well. Overall, another quality product from Philips.

The shaver great results much advanced to my previous Philishave. The app however is terrible not compatible in my opinion with iOS, won't work with my iPhone 13. Apple and Philips need to communicate with each other to sort out the app. Works on Android fine as I tried with my other half's phone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new 9800 shaver has met all the high reviews I read. The floating 3 heads give a very clean shave. The cleaning pod does a great job as well. I would recommend this shaver to anyone looking for a close shave.

I have a moderately heavy beard, and for my 45 years of shaving I've found a Trac II blade was the only close shave I could get. That said, m,y face is a big 'craggy', and I have a lifetime of cuts, scars, and used styptic pencils. I've tried electric in the past and was underwhelmed. However, I received the Series 9000 (S9982) shaver as a gift and decided I was would make an honest effort. I'm still learring the ins-and-outs of shaving with an electric razor, but I have to see that I am impressed at the closeness of the shave I'm getting, and I feel like I may never need to suffer the cust and scrapes of my Trac II ever again.

It does the job but the guidance for pressure and motion doesn't work for me. I'm thinking it is for users new to rotary electric shaving to avoid irritating there skin.. can get a good shave in two minutes using the pressure and motion I've always used.

Excellent shaver. I have only one criticism to make - the "Pressure guide" feature in the GroomTribe app is only a gimmick. If you try to maintain the guage in the green zone, you *will* suffer razor burn, so much so that it will make you instantly regret the move from traditional wet shaving to electric rotary.

My previous Philips RQ1250 razor had over a decade of service and is still going strong (I use it to shave my head), but I decided it was time to try the new tech. I thought this one would be too gimmicky for me but I am actually am impressed with its features.

Used Philips shavers for ever, just replaced an architect withe the 9000 . Architect is still working, but can't purchase Philips built heads any longer. I was disappointed, until I shaved with the new Philips 9000, wet dry skin IQ. Best shave I've ever had, and quick

Hi everyone few years back I had the 7 series it was and still is the best shaver I've ever had I chose the 9000 series thinking it would match the closeness of the 7 series unfortunately it doesn't the odd shape makes it hard to get under the nose properly it does give a reasonable shave but no where near as smooth unless I've been unlucky and got a bad one ,however from the mirror view it looks OK but you can definitely feel the bristles in places still which is a shame I've recommended the Phillips shavers to loads of people owing to my previous 7 th series this one has a good look and quality to it battery is good cleans easy portable case is helpful as is the cleaning device I think the head should go back to the old style personally maybe the heads need to be like the seventh series top one I had last it was as smooth as anything I've just turned 60 so maybe my bristles are harder or something my son got the same model and is very happy with it so like I said earlier maybe I got a bad one no way of knowing but have been as honest as I can be about the one I've got sorry Phillips
