This Electric Sharpener is excellent it sharpens pencils to a nice point. Colored pencils which usually have rather soft inner cores sharpen very nicely with very little breakage. I've had other sharpeners which just chew pencils up and rarely leave a point that is useable.

So happy to have a good pencil sharpener. I opened the box, plugged it in and sharpened all my colored pencils to a nice sharp tip. Love the color too even though it says pink, I'd say it's more of a peach color like in the pictures it shows. Very cute design too.

I   had the pencil sharpeners from a less expensive store and they did a terrible job sharpening the pencils. This sharpener does a  great job sharpening the pencils. My Granddaughter loves it. Just stick the pencil with a little pressure and it comes out perfect. Its chargeable.

The Sharp Sharpener.

Great little sharpener. Safe for kids. Sharpened 24 pencils and still could have kept going before emptying in. Has different sharpness levels to adjust which is nice for younger kids so they don't puke themselves. Great buy! Was a little bigger than expected though.

Excellent product

I like this little pencil shopper. It's not so little. It's a nice size. I'm a big coloring person so my colored pencils are always at my access. I love grade 4 Home new school use highly recommend. It's battery operated. It's also can be charged to the computer port. Very happy with it.

Pencil sharpener

This is the best pencil sharpener I've ever had. Up to now, all the sharpeners I've owned shaved the pencil unevenly, resulting in a thin layer of wood covering the pencil lead, and the pencil will not function to write anything. Very frustrating situation, and repeat attempts wind up with a very short pencil or ruined one. It shaves %232 pencils with no unevenness on settings 1 %26 2. It won't well on setting %233, which is for smaller  pencils I believe. Very nice working with battery power, and no power cord in the way on your desk.

Buy This %26 You'll Be Able To Write With A Pencil

Described as electric and battery powered.  It comes with USB cord which is very short.  You have to buy the USB plug separate. the plug works with other things but  Plugged it in sharpener and doesn't work. It does work with batteries. If you want it to be electric l don't recommend it.

Wow, what to say. Hard to push the pencil in and then you had to get it JUST RIGHT for it to work. Couldn't figure out what was just right either. Slow, fast, medium, press harder, press softer, etc. I have used electric sharpeners all my life and none were ever so finicky. Took well over a minute per pencil on average and my hands hurt after a dozen.

Slowest and most difficult sharpener ever

This sharpener was marked 17.99 and was on sale for 6.99.  I returned it without ever even trying to use it.  How do I know it sucks then?  Well...the hole to insert your pencil seems like it was professionally machined to be 1/100th of an inch smaller than a standard pencil so you have to push hard to get it into the sharpener where it then becomes stuck.  Since it is made of plastic and weighs almost nothing...trying to remove the pencil just results in picking up the device with the pencil as a handle now.  
You have to grip it really hard and pull to remove the pencil.  Ever other electric sharpener I have ever owned is very simple....you put the pencil in.  It goes brrrrr.  You pull the pencil out...one handed.  It takes 3 seconds.  
Somehow they managed to make a cheap electric sharpener that removes every single advantage of an electric sharpener.

Definitely disapointed. I can use batteries or the cord that came with ut. I put fresh batteries in it, but didnt charge it. The batteries and plug in are options. You can use it either way. Now i have a pencil sharpener that i cant use. I recommend it it to nobody.
