This portable air conditioner is perfect for anyone who needs an air conditioner in multiple rooms. You can cool off one room and then move it to another and then even to another it's convenient easy to use and super flexible. It does a wonderful job of cooling a room quickly and quietly I highly recommend this product. It's worth every penny.

Great AC unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like how efficient it is.  I wish it had a much longer exhaust hose though.  It is not as loud as a regular window unit.  It is of course not quiet either as it's an air conditioner.  I love the dark blue color.  It supplements our main ac unit nicely.  There's absolutely no way an 8000 btu unit of any kind is going to cut Deep South heat in the summer for a 500 square foot area that has at least one window!  However this unit suffices for a small bedroom with a walk-in closet.  It doesn't trip the breaker either.  It's a keeper for me.

Excellent for a bedroom!  Not as loud as window ac

We're experiencing a heat wave on the East Coast and our upstairs window unit finally went out after servicing us faithfully since 1973. I was finding it difficult to replace so ordered 3  portable units instead.

After my sister and I got it upstairs (still not sure how we did but will have to with the other 2 units) we installed it in our Mother's bedroom. With teamwork, we got it up and running in under 1 hour (the other 2 units will be a breeze by comparison) and Mommy has the coolest room upstairs now!

Be mindful of the bucket and empty if every 4 hours or so I used white duct tape to seal the window and the exhaust.

A cooling dream.

It was a little difficult hooking up the hose and the window attachments doesn't fit every window. So if you don't have the standard window you will definitely need to be creative on how you'd get it to stay in. But besides that it cooled the room down quickly

This is a great AC unit for the master bedroom. We like to keep the house at 71, but this on 63 at night. The white noise is great to have if you're used to sleeping with a fan. You also don't have to empty the moisture tank either which is a plus. This comes at a great price and I honestly love it.

Well built unit. Easy to set up.  I use it in a medium-sized upstairs bedroom and  have only used the cool setting so far. it cools very efficiently. The controls are self-explanatory so easy to use. It has a timer that I use daily to turn it on and that has been handy.
 A few down sides: The timer has to be set every day. The unit automatically increases the temperature setting which I don't care for. Once set, I want it to cycle at that precise temp through the night. Lastly, I wish the remote  was backlit as I have to turn the light on to use it overnight. Overall, a good value for the price, although in full disclosure, I did get at half price.

Cools an appropriate sized room quickly

Disappointed in both the unit and the seller.

The unit is much louder than advertised and cools only the small space right in front of it and not the whole room. I bought to cool down a 100sq ft room and find that the cold air does not reach any other part of the room other than the few feet immediately in front of the unit.

The seller was rude to deal with. I tried to cancel the order due to the seller delaying delivery date by a week. Seller refused to do so and would only agree to do so if I agreed to pay a cancellation fee. Also added that if I am disappointed in the unit, I would need to pay for my own shipping to return. Atrocious customer service. So now I'm stuck with a unit that barely works without ability to return it without incurring further expense.

I ordered this on sale at the end of the season last year. I just now opened it (my fault gor not doing it sooner) and it is missing pieces of the window kit, it doesn't have the piece to connect the hose to the AC unit OR the extendable part for the window. I have the exhaust tube and the wingnut for the window kit and that is it. The product is dirty and looks like it may have been used before. Not impressed.

Purchased 3 of these units. The first one did not work, so decided to return all three. Didn't open the other two. Now having difficulties with returning. Be very careful of third party sellers on Walmart site. There are different return policies and I can't return to the store and having to deal directly with the third party seller.

Not impressed

The window fitting was not according the window size - also was made up of poor quality . Secondly insulation tape should've been provided with the package as the fitting leaves a lot of gap around the window .
