This policy applies to items sold and shipped by Marketplace sellers on Walmart.ca. This Policy does not apply to purchases made in Walmart Canada Stores or purchases made on Walmart.ca that are fulfilled by Walmart.
- Most Marketplace sellers offer a minimum 30-day* return window from the delivery date. For specific return windows, please contact the seller or refer to the return instructions on the shipping notification email.

- Additional conditions may apply to each item.
- Valid proof of purchase (a valid order number) must accompany the product in all cases.
- All food items purchased from Marketplace sellers on Walmart.ca are considered final sale. Food items may not be returned to Walmart stores or shipped back to sellers. In the event of a seller-fault return reason (i.e. expired item upon arrival, damaged item, incorrect item, etc.), please contact the seller directly to request a refund.
HOW TO RETURN ITEMS
Items sold and shipped by Marketplace sellers on Walmart.ca can be returned in a Walmart store or directly to the seller*, depending on the conditions listed below:
*Return shipping charges from sellers may apply.
- Items returned to a Walmart Canada store must include all original packaging and materials.
- Items in the list below can only be returned directly to the seller:
- Items with a retail price above $250.00 CAD
- Post-paid phones that are fulfilled directly by the carrier
- Fuel Powered Equipment
- Dangerous goods (i.e. hazardous materials containing chemicals, compressed gas or liquids which could pose a health or safety risk.)
- Oversized or overweight products (i.e. weighing greater than 100 lbs or larger than 40” by 48”, such as but not limited to full-size mattresses and large appliance items, etc.)
- Items on Recall
- Items reported to cause Bodily Injury or Property Damage
Exceptions
Items marked with an asterisk (*) must be returned unopened. Valid proof of purchase must accompany the product in all cases.

Note 4: Unopened Halloween costumes can be returned both in store and direct to seller up until 7 days prior to October 31.
