THESE bookcases may have been double the cost of the others but they were SOOOOO worth it. They are heavy and sturdy. I moved 25 particle board laminate shelves out of my house that were a wide variety of makes and stain colors. (They had housed thousands of model horses). These new shelves were weightier and better than ANY of the others. The moveable shelves are so thick and strong they would never bow under the weight of heavy books or items. I'll be purchasing more! In addition, they were EZ to put together. Once we completed one, we no longer had to read the instructions.

I've used a number of inexpensive self-assembly shelving in the past and must say this one is the best I've ever used. Material is thicker and lighter and very easy to assemble, and the color matched my maple furniture better than most. Not as good as real wood of course, but a fraction of the price and worth it.

Better than expected

This bookcase is heavier and sturdier than other build-it-yourself bookcases. It actually feels and looks like a real piece of furniture. It took some time to put together because the pieces were heavy, but it really looks and feels wow! I actually just ordered a second bookcase to complete the room.

Beautiful piece of furniture

Item arrived one day ahead of schedule and went together beautifully.  No damages in transit and looks very similar to real wood.  Shelves are thick and heavy.  Good quality purchase!

Nice!

I was hesitant to order this bookcase however after it arrived and I assembled it I was very impressed with the quality of the materials. Very sturdy product. It is slightly larger than I realized but it fits perfectly with my other bookcases.

Quality materials

Just what I needed to provide extra closet storage. This bookcase is much more substantial that others available in a similar price range. Good value.

Good quality for the price.

Very happy with quality and looks.. Strong, sturdy. I bought 3, adding to one I had of another brand. They hold all my hardbacks, some are large (600 pages or so). The shelves are full, and there is no sagging. I love the color- Royal Oak. They were easy to assemble, with clear directions. I have used Sauder bookcases, which were fine for lighter books, but these Bush ones are much better quality.

I already knew all the details above mentioned, so I chose carefully. It is very important for the customer to have the opportunity to know the exact dimensions before buying a furniture. Also the furniture are not made from wood, and that is the reason of their lower cost, but the limitations are indicated in the installation brochure. It is the reason of the 5 stars.

Good

This took a long time for my son & I to set up. Then, we could not put up three of the shelves, for there were no holes drilled. You need help getting it in the door for it is over 60 lbs. A whole LOT of work is needed for this, so plan your day out. What we have done looks nice.

Allow Time For This !!

Got the book shelves yesterday, but the box was a bit wet and damaged we opened it and found a big scratch on one of the panels,  we decided to put it together, once we were finished,   we pull the stickers off and one of them peeled the material  right off one of the panels. Very poor quality...

Nice but materials are not good quality

Love these shelves. They are nicer than others we have had and fill the space we bought them for beautifully. Very easy to put together and we would buy again.
