Cooling Effect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried every other brand of 100% cotton percale sheets and have found none better than Bare Home. They are cool and crispy like percale is supposed to be. Many other brands, including those endorsed by ratings websites, are too soft and flimsy. Bare Home is my go to brand of sheets.

Best Percale Sheets

walmart.com

I really like the crispness of these cotton percale sheets... Mind you, they do wrinkle, but so what... My only suggestion to Bare Home would be, is to offer the percale sheets, that fit the 10' low profile mattress, which I have. Much less bottom fitted sheet to have to tuck in.set

barehome.com

Love these sheets! I am picky about thread count and texture, and I am concerned about the use of toxic chemicals in my bedding and clothing. These sheets satisfy on every level. They are soft but crisp (no scratchy texture at all) and they fit my very thick mattress perfectly. Seriously my favorite sheets ever. Oh, and the price is great. I WILL be purchasing more when I need another set.

Do You remember the story about the Princess and the pea? well that's me, if there's any flaw or roughness to my bedding I am restless and cannot sleep well . I was skeptical of buying this brand sight unseen without feeling the set, so I bought a duvet cover first and I was so happy with the feel, I was sleeping with just the duvet and a bottom sheet, But I need to be wrapped in this luxurious feel all around me,so I bought the sheet set and I'm so happy I did.

These arrived promptly and were the exact color I'd expected. When I took them out, they did feel quite thin compared to a set I bought at Daniadown that were only a 200 thread count. These are supposed to be 300 so I don't know if that's the difference. They feel lovely but have not been used or washed yet so I can't really give a full review. I DO expect them to wrinkle though, cotton always does. I have no problem with that.

I gave two stars only because the color is beautiful and they look very pretty. I've only washed them once so I will hope they get better but they currently feel like sandpaper. Literally the most uncomfortable sheets I've ever purchased. I buy sheets between $50 and $100 dollars.Update: They're ok. They rip easily, my cat plays on the bed and never have sheets ripped from her play before. They remained weirdly uncomfortable. But they are a beautiful color and organic. They just feel kinda cheap and I expected them to be a higher quality than they are.

Price was OK, but...Top sheet is long enough, but not wide enough.Texture is not overly nice.Sheets aren't colourfast. Something, perhaps moisturizing cream causes blotches in the sheet. Not unusable, but unsightly. This doesn't go away with repeated washes of stain remover. The color of the sheet is disrupted. Not something that should happen to bed linen, or clothing, when it contacts some skin cream.

These sheets are worthless. I plan to donate them to SPCA for their use with the animals. The sheets were wrinkled when rec'd and after washing, became even more wrinkled. I had made the bed and the pillow cases appeared to be a lighter shade of grey than the sheets. They were also wrinkled. Undeterred, I made it thru nite one and tho' it was not uncomfortable, it rankled me that Bare Home would do business with this kind of fabric mfgr. The info provided said that they were Percale....they are not.Atleast the puppies at the pound will make good use of them.

I was excited to receive these percale sheets. They felt great out of the package, silky and smooth. Then I washed them per care instructions. They weren't the same. They were quite rough like canvass. My son compared them to a painters dropcloth. I returned them.

The organic cotton percale is unbreathable in my opinion. I am instantly sweating upon contact with this sheet. Sadly returns are impossible because they ask that the product is unused. So once you try the sheet you are stuck with it! I will not be buying from this company again.
