Can be smooth, but also rough with imperfections.

Plates have a smooth surface and clean look.

Offers a lower price per pound compared to similar products.

Can be sturdy, but also prone to imperfections.

Paint application can be inconsistent, leading to chipping and coverage issues.

Plates fit perfect in 2” machine plate loaded chest pec dec. They're not going to move and stationary. For that reason not too picky on weights. The font does not come out perfect on some weights, can be a little messy with the paint / silver writing but it's just writing. Some plates do have rougher edges than others on the outer rim. They won't be perfect but most important part is the 2” opening ensuring a snug fitment into barbell or machines. Does not affect the weight. Weight is weight. Will buy more in future !

The CAP 45 lb pair I got are more accurate to their actual weight [45] than the other pair I already own that weighed in at 48 lb. They work great on my barbell and leg machine! Im not sure if the paint quality is as good as other brands, though. But they look good. If they rust, I can paint rustoleum gray on them. They were an extremely good  price. I got them for a dollar per pound! A steal!

Great plates. Let's face it at the end of the day a plate is plate. They aren't going to be calibrated, down to exact decimal but it's a plate.
Some of them have a few burs but it will wear off with use.

Solid

It was a Christmas present for my 16 yr old. It's weight lifting season. He irritated for the last month for some more weights. This my 2nd time ordering and will be ordering more. He loves them 😆.

Early Christmas gift

I'm in it for the 🔥 burn. Who cares if some of the coating chips off a little? The price can not be beat. They come with two weight clips. And the best package📦 arrival—everything was still in the box. I absolutely 😍 love them.

I bought a pair of Cap 45s a few years ago from an exercise equipment store. They were beautifully made and well-finished. I wanted to get another pair, but unfortunately the store went out of business. I had trouble finding another store that carried these plates, but was able to order them online from Walmart. I was very disappointed when I opened the box. They are nowhere near the quality of my old plates. The casting is very rough with a cheap paint job. There were big spots of the silver paint used for the lettering on other parts of the plate. I don't know how it passed inspection like that - it looked awful. To top it off, they now come with a sticker advising you that they contain a substance known to cause cancer and other illnesses. Great.

Disappointing Quality

They work, but the cut isn't smooth (rough bits all over, had some thin metal that fell off after unpacking and sharp edges near the ring, probably not enough to cut but definitely enough to scratch yourself on).

Functional but cheaply cut

Expensive

Ordered 2 25lb plates, first time sent wrong kind of plate (non Olympic), issued replacement, second time sent just 1 Olympic plate (but the box saying 2 plates), and no longer provide the replacement option. Disappointed about the constant mistakes, so much time wasted on waiting, tracking and preparing the returns.

Poor logistic handling
