I was impressed with the quality of this weighted bar. The rod is covered in a foam neoprene-like finish for easy gripping. The diameter of the rod is larger than I anticipated by looking at the photos.  Pleased with the purchase and I might buy other weight selections now that I see how nice this one is.

My husband won't even try it because it's so much bigger than the one he used in rehab. He's very weak. He's afraid he won't be able to hold it up. It's a very nice bar, though if you were just gonna buy it to work out with, but I'm thinking about sending it back.
