Great texture, soft and easy to knit with. The yarn is slightly shiny and rich in saturation. It's not to fuzzy and doesn't shred/separate as much as cotton yarn does bit without the itchyness of some synthetic yarns. Great product and reasonably priced!

I love this yarn! It does not split easily, the softest acrylic yarn ever, very vibrant %26 beautiful, extremely consistent with colors and thickness, very rarely has ties in the skeins (so annoying), colors go well with each other like multi %26 solid colors, a joy to work with and (as long as I do it Justice) always produces the most beautiful garments! I've never had a problem with this brand!

Softest Most Beautiful Acrylic Yarn!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like working with this yarn because it is soft and easy to handle.  Since I am mostly homebound I appreciate being able to order it from nearby.

This yarn is extremely soft and has a nice sheen to it. The stitch definition is beautiful. It does have a tendency to split while working with it however, it really isn't anything to worry about.

The only issue I had is it is a spring color but it is the only flesh tone I've been able to find, had no problem getting it online but it is more of a roll back at my store than online so I had to pay a higher price

Online yarn

Very soft… the yarn is very stretchy. Sometimes this quality makes your work look like you've missed or added stitches.  Also, the yarn splits easily if your hook is not inserted perfectly. 
I would still recommend, because it's a good value and the yarn is especially good for baby blankets because of its softness.

So soft! Not for beginners. The yarn splits really easily making it a bit difficult when crocheting. Other than that it's a really nice yarn. I'm using it to embroider over a crochet piece. I tried to make something with this yarn but I'm too new and it was taking too long bc my hook was going through the yarn instead of picking it up.

Pretty but splits easily

This yarn is wonderfully soft, shows amazing stitch definition and doesn't split on my hook easily. The color is beautifully saturated and it has a subtle shine when it is worked up that my son just loves. For this I give it 4 stars because I did have some issues with the yarn not being evenly spun. In some areas the yarn is thicker, knotted looking and cannot be worked into the piece I am making. I have to cut and tie the yarn to make it work. Since I am making a sweater out of the yarn this is concerning, but workable. So far I am finding that this problem is very limited and the unusable yarn is very short pieces so I would still recommend the yarn. 

I have not had any tied ends in the skeins which is nice. This yarn does like to stick to itself a bit but I found this to be true more after having to frog a piece than when I used my yarn winder on the skein.

This is not a skein of yarn that is friendly to winding as the inside end of the skein is buried and the skein has to be eviscerated to reach it leading to a fight with unwinding a small ball of inside yarn....and can lead to some snarls. I was prepared for this so, for me, it's not a terrible issue that will cause me not to use the yarn again or not recommend it to a fellow crafter/maker.

All in all, for workability, softness, price point, and gorgeous color this is a solid 4 star work horse type of yarn that I will continue to use in future projects. It takes a hit for having unusable areas of yarn that should have been caught by quality control and some minor winding issues.

Really Soft!

1 skein had a break in the yarn. This meant I had to rip out most of a row to tie a knot at the beginning. This shouldn't happen with good quality yarn.

Break in yarn

ive used caron simply soft numerous times for years.this yarn was terrible.it has no elasticity and splits.it is also at least 2 needle sizes thinner then other colors.i bought 3 colors and each was a different thickness.it ruined my project. i am very dissapointed in caron simply soft yarn.the quality went from very high to below zero.
