Offers a wide range of beautiful colors to choose from.

Made with soft yarn that is easy to work with.

Great texture, soft and easy to knit with. The yarn is slightly shiny and rich in saturation. It's not to fuzzy and doesn't shred/separate as much as cotton yarn does bit without the itchyness of some synthetic yarns. Great product and reasonably priced!

Great color, great yarn!

walmart.com

It's a bit splitty at times but is so soft, and works up so gorgeous- if drape and sheen is what you're after, you'll love this yarn. Yes, it's acrylic, yes it's synthetic but for the price and the good qualities it has, it's a very nice yarn. Also machine washable and dryable~ it's one of my favorite acrylic yarns. I recommend it! :)

Caron Simply Soft has been my go-to yarn for crocheting for years. I was devastated when Joann's went out of business and I could no longer purchase Simply Soft yarn there. I was super excited to find that Walmart is now carrying it! And at a great price too! Thank you Walmart! 😊

My Go To Crocheting Yarn

Very soft!! I have used this yarn for years!! It is a great yarn for anything you want to make. I made 100 lap blankets for my Residents at my rehab center for Christmas. They turned out lovely!! I still use it now for more of my projects.

Fantastic Soft Yarn

I'm very fond of Caron Simply Soft yarn, %26 use it as often as I can afford it. The colors are lush, the yarn is soft %26 washable %26 easy to use. It gives a glow to the article you're making. It's easy on the fingers. My only gripe is that it can be difficult to rip out if you have to correct a mistake in a previous row.

A bit expensive, but worth it

Nice color; different shade of brown, possible main color. I like it. Will blend in with other colors well. I usually make multicolor hats, afghans, etc. with simple patterns and let the colors do the work. I haven't used it yet but it's got possibilities.

Hidden Jewel.

Love this yarn. It is easy to work with and soft to the touch. I am working on my third blanket with this brand. The only drawback is that the twist of the yarn is quite loose, which means that it is easy for the crochet needle to pick up only 2 or 3 of the 4 strands. This is something crocheters might need to keep in mind, and the reason for 4 stars. It will be less of an issue with knitting. Otherwise, great value for the price.

Lovely yarn but a little tricky for crocheting

So soft! Not for beginners. The yarn splits really easily making it a bit difficult when crocheting. Other than that it's a really nice yarn. I'm using it to embroider over a crochet piece. I tried to make something with this yarn but I'm too new and it was taking too long bc my hook was going through the yarn instead of picking it up.

Pretty but splits easily

This yarn is fairly soft, considering it is acrylic. It comes in many colors and lends itself to different crochet projects. It can split easily, but not often. Good basic yarn.

Good for acrylic yarn

Perfectly good yarn, very soft and nice to work with, good results. 2 stars out of 5 because the Walmart prices on Caron Simply Soft are all OVER the place, some colors twice the price of others. Not sure how or why that's the case, but I think it's unacceptable and buy my yarn elsewhere whenever I can.

Prices vary by color - sometimes 2X as much!

Caron® Simply Soft® Yarn, acrylic #4 medium weight, 6 oz (170 g), 315 yards, skein in a smooth, lustrous blue-green shade with tightly wound strands, ideal for knitting, crochet, and versatile craft projects.
