I've had many pairs of these but not from product failure. They're just that great. I am a groundsman for a TN tree service and these pants are ideal! If they can survive what I put them through be assured that you are getting a very good quality pant for work, play, or anything in between. I'm sure you won't stop at one pair for this amazing price - I haven't.

INDESTRUCTABLE AND STYLISH

I have bought these pants for my teenage son on several occasions. They hold up to the wear and tear of cutting firewood, machaniching, and farm work. They fit comfortably, and are priced reasonably enough to keep up with a growing boy/man.

For those of us on a budget

I buy these jeans for my job. I happen to be a woman but no one makes these kinds of pants for women. They are well made and don't shrink. They're a bit hot for summer but are perfect for winter. I couldn't find my size in the store, but the Walmart.com process was so easy. Shipped for free right to my home.

Great pants for work

I'm liking the triple stitching and hoping for  a durable pair of jeans from Dickies here.
Material seems slightly thinner than i would of expected but I have confidence Dickies will have got this right.
the fit is exactly as you would expect , so buy in confidence your regular size.

Bought these for my son, who is a welder. The fabric is very durable. Hes said that, multiple times, he's scraped or caught them on something and expected to look down and see a hole, but the pants were still good. More than likely, they've probably protected his legs from the same scrapes, etc too. 
They run a little big and a little long, but he didnt mind at all. My son is 6ft 5in tall and bought a 32 length, which is perfect with his work boots.

These pants are very durable. They fit well.

These pants are 12 oz. canvas, somewhat stiff (which I like), durable, and very affordable. But you need to know how to size them. This material shrinks quite a bit. If you don't mind a looser fit in the seat and thighs, I highly recommend buying one full size up in the waist and shrinking them to fit over a series of washings and dryings. I normally wear a size 34 waist, so I bought these in a 36 knowing they were entirely too big before washing. But after the first wash & dry, they already fit close enough to begin wearing, and I noticed an added benefit: the extra loose fit in the seat and legs prevents the pants from binding when crouching, even though they don't have a gusseted crotch. That makes them so much more comfortable when working, squatting, climbing a ladder, etc., and it makes them an even better value. My only complaint is related to the pockets. The cell phone pocket is too small for most smart phones, and the front pockets are so small you can barely get your hands inside them, and that's sizing up! These are inexcusable design flaws. Better plan on carrying your keys on a carabiner clip. If Dickies would fix these two problems and add a style with cargo/utility pockets, they might give the more expensive companies some serious competition.

Great If You Know How to Size

I've owned sets of the Carhartt pants that these were modeled after, and am currently testing my first pair of these.

I bought them due to the availability, the fit and the cost (under $18 vs. $30 for the Carhartts).

I could tell, right away, that the denim material is not as thick or as robust as Carhartt pants. I don't know how they will hold up over the long term, but for the average guy wearing them as jeans I bet they'd be ok. I use my Carhartts for demolition work (by hand, not by explosives...), so I am a bit worried that all the debris and sawzall-blade hits my pants area takes during a day will shred the Dickies pants, but that remains to be seen.

As a daily wearing set of pants they fit well, but I do miss both the pocket underneath the hammer loop on the left-leg side (which the Carhartts have), and the placement of the dual-pockets on the right-leg side - the Dickies dual-pockets are a little lower, the smaller is shallower, and Carhartts have an interesting and useful feature in the dual-pockets that these don't have (on the Dickies the dual-pockets are two completely separate pockets - I like the pass-through of the Carhartts).

The front main pockets on the Dickies seem to fit just like jeans front pockets, where-as Carhartts seem a little more roomy to store stuff - but I'm ok with both styles. The Dickies' front main pockets probably look better.

From what I've seen of wearers, though, overall Carhartt pants usually seem to look better on people than do Dickies pants - there must be a difference in the cut.

Trying them out

The pants that came are not Dickies and came from a 3rd party. So disappointed in Walmart for allowing this to happen. If I wanted 3rd party items I would have ordered from Amazon. Hoping I get my money back. I never knew when ordering from Walmart it would be anyone other than walmart. Pants made in china.
