I continue to come back to Dickies for their Relaxed Fit Carpenter pants. They are a good value and I get my wear out of them.The fit and cut are excellent. I'm an active guy and I enjoy being able to move around freely. Those extra pockets always come in handy. Don't really need the hammer loop, so don't mind if you have a version without them, but yeah, keep all the extra pockets.
I'm retired, a professional artist, a painter and I surf a lot….

Work Pants That Work

Good quality and fit. I tried the flex type and was very disappointed in materials and fit. But the heavy weight jeans and just as good as they have always been. Highly recommended the 100% cotton heavy weight jeans.

100% cotton

These stiff and tough pants may seem unyielding, but after wearing them for just a couple days I can already feel them molding to my body. The high waist is much more comfortable than lower waisted pants I have worn, and the extra pockets are excellent for storing various bits and bobs that I need for work and daily life.

Nice to Break In

I'm a fat guy. (5'11", 315lbs). Since I have a big gut, I wear my pants below my gut, so my pants tend to sit lower than my hips a bit. It's tough to find pants in a 46W that have a slightly shorter crotch to accommodate this. These pants fit great through the waist and thighs on me. My only complaint is that they don't come in a shorter inseam. Due to my pants being worn lower, my inseam (which probably should be 30-32 at my height) is closer to 26-28. I hemmed these pants and took 3 inches of the legs, and they're my favorite fitting pants.

Big guy. Good fit.

I purchased my first pair in a local thrift store and after wearing them for a couple months had to purchase a new pair.  These pants are well-made, comfortable and I expect to get many years of hard use out of them.  They're cut so there's plenty of room to move while I'm working.  If you're looking for comfort and durability you found it with Dickie's relaxed fit heavyweight duck carpenter pants.

You need a pair....

Seem well made like the other Dickies I own. The looser fit is comfy. I've been wearing Dickies for several years for doing sawyer work and they've always held up very well. They're also a great value compared to the other companies work wear…you know who I'm talking about.

Dickies Work Pants

I should've listened to the reviews about sizing up. I'm a 36 waist in literally everything, so I grabbed these in 36x30. Couldn't even button them. The 30 length was perfect though. Went back and got a 38x30, and those fit, but man they feel a lot bigger. A little tricky with the sizing, but still rocking with them because the pants themselves are solid.

Size up

I buy Dickies carpenter pants, mostly because the side pocket holds my android phone perfectly, and its location is handy.  The duck trousers I received this order had the side pocket stitched too narrow and my phone won't fit--can't even cram it in. I bought a pair of denim carpenter pants at the same time, along with a pair each of the carpenter shorts in duck and denim, and the phone slides right it, not too loose and not too tight, perfectly snug.

Cell Phone Pocket

I bought a pair with a 32 inch waist and they were too large. I bought these with a 30 inch waist and couldn't fasten them. Don't know what's going on with the sizing, but it isn't right.

Waist size dilemma

I've worn a 34 waist for the last 5 years. They've always b been relatively loose on me. I could barely button this pair of pants
