This product provides great value, especially when it goes on sale. They are quite comfortable. I've bought these or similar items from Hanes in the past, and I found them durable, although they do become somewhat less comfortable after several dozen washes.

Excellent value for comfortable underwear

Over a period of several years this is my second set of Hanes briefs .  I should have ordered medium like my first set, but I mistakenly ordered large.  The large is working well and is comfortable so I am keeping them.  I will never again purchase briefs without the name Hanes.

Extremely Comfortable

I've read dozens of reviews describing the decline in quality of Hanes underwear. Not true of the Hanes Ultimate™ Men's FreshIQ™ ComfortSoft® Boxer Brief. Having worn them for a couple of weeks now, I can safely say that I can't find a thing wrong with them. They look good, feel good and fit great. I feel kind of funny talking about my underwear, but I have to say to those who have had negative experiences with the Hanes Ultimate™ Men's FreshIQ™ ComfortSoft® Boxer Brief, there's nothing wrong with these!

Bought these boxer briefs a month ago and they fit well on a 50 something 6'2" 195lb old guy. (I have tried the other brands and they are too low on my backside...fell like they're sliding off. Not these. More top fit and comfortable. Good price point for 5-pack

Good old fashioned undies!

These are comfortable but expect some distention as they day goes along. The "first fit" is a bit looser in the crotch and buttocks than other Hanes boxer briefs I've worn. I only wear Hanes. I bought an XL which is my normal size because I'm a little overweight so there's no reason for that extra bagginess. The waistband is comfortable and will stay in place but after standing/sitting/walking throughout the day, expect that first fit of feeling snug around the leg to disappear. While they do bunch up and ride up a little, it's not as bad as regular boxers. They go back to their original fit after a wash.

Satisfied but looking for better

I’ve been buying this same Hanes underwear style for years, including the 2024 version, and unfortunately this latest batch feels noticeably different. While the cut and overall look are similar to last year’s version, the fabric is not.

The material feels significantly less soft and has an almost cardboard-like stiffness, even after a couple of washes. There’s also noticeably less stretch compared to my 2024 pairs, which makes them feel more restrictive throughout the day. They’re still wearable and hold their shape, but the comfort just isn’t there anymore.

If you’re expecting the same softness and flexibility as previous years, you may be disappointed. This feels like it may have come from a different factory or used different materials than before. I’ll still use them, but they’re clearly a step down in comfort from the earlier version I’m used to. We’ll see how well they hold up over time. Size Large purchased.

Material doesn't hold shape. Stretch was gone in one wearing.

No stretch

The quality of the fabric in the underwear was excellent and it was well made. However, I am 5'10" in height and these were obviously made for someone who's quite tall. I'm not happy with my purchase but if open the package and worn one pair so I guess I'm stuck with them.

There is now a seam on each side of the back that didn’t used to be there. It makes no sense to add this from a comfort standpoint. Maybe it allows them to use less material. Whatever the reason, I will look to other brands until they go back to the old stitching pattern
