Bought a size XS for my 3 year old son. He's 38” tall and weighs 32 lbs. They are roomy but I figured they would be. I rolled the waist down twice and they fit great. Bought them as part of his Halloween costume. Quality sweatpants with a vibrant color.

My 5 year old loves these pants.  They are soft and hold their size after multiple washings.  We use them as sleepwear and active wear.  One out of 6 purchased sprung a hole on the seam after a few months.

Bought an XS first since that's my 5 y/o son's size. Way too small.  Bought 4 mediums next because that's how small they were.  nope check the picture - there's a huge size difference in these.  I even tried the same type of pants but the open leg.  well the black pants in the picture is a size Small in the open leg, and the 2 red ones are an XS and a Medium in the regular one I'm reviewing here for.  Going to try one more time and get just the Small of this and just mend them so they fit him.

Bought 3 sizes, huge difference

I bought these as my kids' gym pants, as the ones from the uniform store weren't well made and they look similar enough that they are acceptable in their Catholic school. The first time my eight year old daughter wore hers, she came home with a hole in the crotch. Too bad they weren't better made.

I will not be purchasing these from Hanes.com ever again. In my last order 1 of 4 my son ripped the seam out the first day wearing them. In this order 2 of 4 ripped the seam out the first day wearing them. The same day! 
I am almost scared to put the other two I bought on my son because I don't want him to end up in another embarrassing situation. I don't know if there is a difference between the ones that are sold at retailers and the ones that are sold online but I am extremely disappointed with the ones purchased online from hanes.com.

Will Not Buy Again

One of the pairs I got, one leg is nearly TWO INCHES SHORTER.

After one wear and wash, the crotch has a hole in it! Poor quality!

Poor quality! Not durable!

I bought sweats for my sons and when they arrived I had them try them on. It was a perfect fit. I washed them on cold and dried them on low and they shrunk so small they are unwearable. I ordered a size small (6-8) as my sons wear a size 7 and they are now about a size 4. Awful
