Bought these shirts to wear as sleep shirts, so bought them 3 sizes too big. They are very comfortable and fit nicely, however they attract and retain pet hair. I am constantly having to use a lint brush on them. I recommend these shirts, but only if you don't have pets.

I am a big fan of Beefy Ts.
That being said, these Authentics are almost as good. The fabric weight is a bit lighter and the cut is a bit tighter but, for the money these are a great value for money.

Darn near as good

These are nice, classic t-shirts for wearing under a button-down.  I wish the label information had been stamped on the neck instead of an irritating label.

Great shirts, what we've come to expect from Hanes

It's alright but I think I prefer the feel of the fabric from the Beefy T line and these shirts are just too short. They need to be like 4-6 inches longer at the bottom for reliable coverage.

Washed it only once, wore it only once, and the stitching is already coming apart.

Not as good as it used to be

Disappointed.
For a 100% cotton shirt this sure is stiff and scratchy. The crew neck also puckers where it's sewn into the shirt. This after just one wash. I haven't even worn the shirt. Not sure I'm going to. Plus ordering direct from Hanes wasn't any better than a retailer. In fact after getting my order confirmed, and then waiting for delivery I was told one item wasn't available. Why then was I allowed to order it? Weird.

Disappointed

I didn't realize these were 100% cotton when I bought them. They fit perfectly out of the bag but, after I washed them, they shrunk and became "hard" and uncomfortable.

Not a Comfy Tee

Material thick, but very stiff & scratchy.  Husband doesn't like the shirt at all.  Washing & drying several times has not helped.

Disappointing … expected better from Hanes

I wore this shirt 1 time and the color already faded .Let me repeat that. I wore this shirt 1 time and the color has faded. No more for me the quality has also seem to faded

Sad sad sad.

I had some Hanes tees from many years ago that were a soft,comfortable fabric andheld up well over time.  They dont make them like that anymore.  The fabric was very rough cotton and it did not soften with washing.  It felt just awful against my skin.  The finishing was poor.  And the shirts shrank with the first washing.  The sizing was already running a bit small.  Basically in comparison to the past quality, these were awful.  Would rather them be more expensive and made like before.

Rough fabric, poor finishing, do not buy!
