I tie dye. These are my go-to for dying as they  are tough, comfy, warm and take  color well. Sizes run true. The pullovers are great too. Buy without hesitation.

The sweatshirt is just wonderful. It is very well made and heavy duty. The inside is very soft. The zipper works fine. I'm sure this will be a favorite garment of my husband's for years to come. I can always count on Hanes to have high quality clothing.

I am so extremely happy to finally find excellent quality in the fabric that feels real but the wide arms.  My sons have big arms and are frustrated that most zip up hoodies are cut to fit tight around the arms.  The colors are really nice and the quality of the fabric feels good.  Must read the amount of cotton for each different color because this runs different.  The all black has the most cotton and therefore feels a bit more stiff but will soften as it gets washed.  Overall, all I can say is thank you for staying real to people who need that extra room.  🙏

Finally a zip up hoodie with wide arms😳

Got the hoodie in black, as it is one of the colors that is 90% cotton.  I don't care to wear synthetic materlals.  By being careful about color selection I got a hoodie that I find very comfortable.  Some of the color options have lower percentage of cotton.  So read the entire page if you care about cotton content.  I like it so much I bought a second one.

Great hoodie!

These are comfy + not too expensive. I buy them because they're mostly cotton - which is hard to find at a reasonable price these days. The material is a bit light weight and doesn't hold up for very long tho. The last few I bought lasted 3 - 4 years with light use. [I wear them around the house. Nothing that's too hard on the material.]  If they were a little thicker + slightly more durable they'd be perfect.

Mostly Cotton Hoodie

What the heck?! This is the least comfortable hoodie I have ever tried on. I bought one for myself and each of my 2 adult sons and we were all shocked at how rough and stiff the fabric feels, even after washing and machine drying. I find the zipper install irksome, as the seam on each side of it sticks forward instead of laying flat. The "comfort" boxer briefs were enen worse. I don't know if we'll ever buy Hanes again, despite decades of purchases.

I am sorry to say, but the hoodie I got from Hanes (an on-line purchase) was not stitched up quite right in the wrists area (see photo).

I purchased the Hanes Men's Ultimate Cotton® Heavyweight Full Zip Hoodie in black. I was happy with my purchase when it arrived. However, the hoodie did not hold up after going through the first wash cycle. It shrunk so much in the dryer that it it caused the zipper to be too long for the size f the hoodie. Now, there are thread frays all over and the zipper butterflies out. It looks pretty bad. I did not wear the hoodie once before washing it, so I did not get a single wear out if it. I am going to buy another hoodie from somewhere, but unfortunately it won't be a Hanes.
