Can be smooth and uniform, but may also be prone to scratches.

Compact dimensions meet customer expectations.

Easy to follow with step-by-step guidance.

Made with a durable build that can withstand wear.

I would recommend gluing the plastic pegs into their proper positions and letting them dry overnight It makes the assembly much easier. I would also recommend placing the construction grid flat on the floor as you assemble it. It makes squaring it up much easier.

Also, when you attach the two end pieces, I would suggest marking the holes with a black marker to make them more visible (make a crosshair on the holes). Then, do not immediately butt the end pieces to the side pieces, but make sure you have a pretty good gap between the end pieces and the side pieces. Why do this? To be able to see the tips of the screw holes and ensusre they line up with the marked holes.

Then, line up the tips of the screws into the screw holes which were marked with the crosshairs. Again, the gap between the end piece and the side piece allows you to see the hole crosshairs better. Yeah, you really do need to get the screws into the holes perfectly, or you will have to essentially screw a new hole into the side pieces. When you have all four screws lined up into the holds, start the tightening process, alternating between the four screws.

This is great product, but it does take a little work with the screws on the end pieces to ensure that the end result is a square organizer. And use a square when you are putting on the end pieces! Enjoy!

Tips for putting on the end pieces

walmart.com

These are very strong as long as they are vertical. I have bought five of them and I have two more on the way.
They must come from two different suppliers because one was a half inch bigger than the original ones I ordered the same part number.
So they're very strong. Made in China. The price is right.
(They're holding my 100 year collection of national geographics double row)

I'm very happy with them

Good bookcase for the price

Admittedly, the "rustic gray" is much more gray in person than the photo shows (which is more natural wood looking); however, it still works well in our basement play room. We are using this shelf on its side as an open "Montessori-style" toy shelf. It does the job perfectly. It's also very easy to assemble. I was able to put it together myself (without my handier husband) in less than an hour with no issues. Great value for the price! I was originally looking at true Montessori toy shelves, which ranged between $300-$400. This does the trick at a fraction of the cost, and it looks great doing so!

Great open toy shelf!

I have purchased many of these, 2-4-6-8 cube organizers. A little challenging to do by myself but doable. Took me a little over an hour to put this 8-cube together. I'm 60, F. I love the flexibility of using vertically or horizontally. Love the color. Easy to move around too. Not a bad price either.

8-cube organizer

I purchased this online to use in our home gym to hold weights, boxing gloves and other workout accessories. I am very pleasantly surprised at the quality of this unit. It is very sturdy and looks great. It arrived in only 2 days, well packaged with no damage. It only took my husband about 40 minutes to put it together by himself (and he is not real "handy"). Overall a great buy, I would definitely reccomend.

Very pleased with this unit!

We love the bins, but they are not all the same measurements. We ordered 2 before Christmas with tabletops. After Christmas, we order 1 more to go at the end of the tables and it is about 1/2 in off. It makes a beautiful desk for my husband and myself.

Beautiful Furniture

So the color was listed as “brown wood” but the box clearly labeled it as “vintage walnut” which was another posting for the item, so im not sure if its a mix up or just a mistake in the posted item. Either way, I literally watched FedEX drop it like it was nothing on the corner and i feared the worst. When i opened it up on the “dropped” end, it was severely damaged - all the corners were smashed in. I didn't bother to take any of the pieces out because at this point its going back. I was really hoping for a more cherry brown, and this was a flatter brown, lighter than the tobacco oak, so if it wasn't damaged, im not sure i would have kept it anyways. Bottom line though the piece is beautiful and probably should carry a fragile designation on the box, tho not sure anyone from UPS/FedEX would care.

It's Vintage Walnut

Noticed after it was already open and started putting together that the finish was already coming off. It seems like just paper on top of the particle board. Wanted this for toy storage but if you have bins sliding in and out of this the finish will definitely rip off.

Poor quality

I've ordered three so far, with my first order containing two. Of those first two, one box was badly damaged as were the shelves inside. I thought maybe that was a one-off, and reordered after setting up a return of the damaged shelf. The replacement arrived today, and the box is somehow in worse shape than the first return, with the shelves inside showing obvious damage without my needing to open the box even.
I guess I should know better then to order something like furniture from Walmart for home delivery, but I never expected that the products I paid for in good faith would be mishandled so badly before delivery.

DON'T HAVE THIS DELIVERED. Pick it up instead.

This product arrived yesterday in a damaged box with scratches on the actual unit. So annoyed!!!! the product is black too so the scratches are SO obvious. And the routing is so poorly placed that it's difficult to align it to screw. I was originally going to purchase this from ikea but they don't carry black so I went on w limb with Walmart and it's terribly damaged. My husband and I live pretty far out, returning this is going to be such a hassle.

Scratched up and damaged
