It works great for exactly what I wanted it for, I'm a retired chef and I bought this for slicing sandwich meats, cheeses, onions and tomatoes. As long as you are not expecting this to perform like a Globe, or other professional meat slicer, you will be very satisfied with this, it's easy to operate and really easy to clean as well.

I have used this slicer to slice many pounds of baked large chicken breasts.  There was a little learning curve for me but the unit worked well.  Enough power.  As mentioned in other reviews the plastic pusher/holder did not grip the meat very well.  I spent a little time with a nail file and sharpened the plastic bumps.  That solved the problem or at least made it much less of a problem.  Slice width adjustment is easy and secure.  Take down for clean up was not a problem and clean up was easy enough.
Could the unit be made stronger and better? Yes.  But it is an inexpensive model that works well.  And I found it to be a good value.

This low priced slicer is great for our home use. We use this slicer to perfectly slice 1/2" thick homemade white bread, paper thin potatoes for au gratin, paper thin for fresh potatoes chips, jerky, ham, vegetables, cheese, it`s use is endless. Clean up is easy. We have wanted this type of slicer for quite a while and we are very pleased.

Great Value for Home Use

I've had two Vevor meat slicers prior to this one and, hands down, this Kaloric is much better design, easier to clean and quieter...all for a better price at that!  The Vevors would pull food behind the blades which ended up in every nook and cranny and became a total pain to clean.  This machine keeps almost all of the orts on outer surface with just a few bits along the bottom of the face plate behind the blade once it is removed.  I like the slant toward the back also that drains any excess liquid off to the backside versus the Vevor flat surface design.  It is also much quieter than the Vevors although my unit is not as quiet as I had expected and hoped from other reviews.  It runs quieter while cutting than it does just spinning so that makes the noise more noticeable.   My only  complaint, which is minor,  would be the rubberized foot pads at the back which I would have preferred to have been located totally underneath the unit rather than sticking out marginally.  This slight footpad suction cup protrusion  keeps a cutting board (or platter) from neatly sliding up flush to the unit or a tad below the unit's back edge.  All in all, love it!

Bought this to slice meats and cheeses for an event we were hosting.We also used it to thinly slice tomatoes and onions for sandwiches and finely shred lettuce. It is very easy to use, clean, and it comes with a good selection of slicing options for thickness. Item appears sturdy and has some built in safety features. The price is very competitive. Overall quite pleased with this purchase and have no reservations recommending it

Works great for slicing a small roast. Just put some paper towels under it. Why pay more for something you won't be using everyday.

Kalorik Slicer

Cuts well enough but Guide plate can move with pressure. And i find food builds up at the bottom of the blade creating messy cuts so it must be cleaned and it is not the easiest thing to clean. I also wish it would cut thicker than 1/2"... All in all it is it is a good machine for the price if you dont have one... but i dont think it is top tier quality

Good enough for the money

You get what you pay for. It is cheap but does the trick halfway. Slices uneven and not actually what you get in a deli. Does not shave ham.

This didn't slice very well at all.
When you go to push the meat through the slicer it's the back part of it moves and you can't get an even slice it's starts out thin then gets all thick the food sticks to the blade crappy don't buy. I returned it
