[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works well. Easy to use. Sleek and beautiful design...but after a few months I started smelling motor burn every time I  used it and a couple months larer the blade broke apart from the bottom of the jar!!...& oh yeah it is loud!!

Luckily I was still within the warranty year, so I have upgraded to the K400. I still smell the motor burn every time I use it. So the jury is still out.

Received this as a gift and it has been great to use! Compact size and really enjoy the personal cups that I can blend in, so don't have to get multiple items dirty when making a single serving smoothie.

Great Blender and Useful Add-ons

I primarily use it for breakfast smoothies/protein shakes, but can be used for many purposes. Design is good as is the build. Seems like a quality built machine, which is made in the U.S.A.

I had really high hopes for this blender. I love the idea of the personal blender jars. However, the base adapter used with the blender jars broke after just a few uses. Extremely poor quality far below what I would expect from Kitchen Aid. Would not recommend.

Broke within first 2 months after a few uses

Bought this model and it burned out so quickly only used it a few times to make smoothies. It says it crushes ice but burns out when making smoothies with frozen fruit.

Not good for smoothies

I have owned one of these blenders before and it worked great. I gave it to my daughter so I purchased  a second one.  It worked great for five uses and then stopped working. I will return it and purchase the same one again… I'm hoping I just got a lemon this time and the next one will be just as great as my first blender.

The blender has plastic pitcher/cups (I guess I didn't read the description) I used the pitcher and it worked but didn't seem too powerful, but it did the job. The second time I used the cup and the blades completely  fell apart. The base got wet and it no longer worked, after 2 uses . This product is poor quality especially for this price point

I followed all instructions and every time I used it there would always be an air pocket around the blades making it such a poor experience with every use. My 7 year old ninja bullet works better than this. I will be returning.
