It's just like having an extra set of hands doing the hard work for you. Everything turns out perfectly and you never feel like the machine is going to give out on you and just stop working like a regular hand mixer. We also bought the slicing/shredding attachment. By far the best way to shred blocks of cheese. Sometimes I would avoid cooking certain things because I didn't have enough time to stand around and shred cheese by hand. We just made a large platter of fresh mac and cheese. This shredded 3 blocks of cheese in under 10 minutes. This is the best money spent to help me in the kitchen, thank you!!

I have always wanted a Kitchen Aid mixer and my husband purchased this for me and it is a dream come true. I love the extra attachment to stop powdered sugar from flying out of the bowl and it is easier to pour ingredients in as well. The mixer worked exactly as I hoped.

Yay! I received my Kitchenaid Artisan mixer today! It's beautiful. Many colors to choose but I went with white because it goes with my decor. It is sturdy and is going to last and last. I feel comfort in knowing I have a reputable brand in KitchenAid. My 5 qt bowl is well made and has a handle which makes using the mixer and moving the bowl around easy. Making bread, cakes, cookies and more will be a cinch!

I've wanted a stand mixer for a while.  I wasn't sure if I wanted to spend that much money on a mixer, but now that I have one I'm wondering why I ever hesitated buying one!

Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer is well worth the money

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I bought this a month ago and it made my Christmas baking a breeze. I waited way to long before getting one of these. I have the Artisan model and it is solidly built, the bowl is metal, it's easy to use and looks great on my counter. Ilove the pistachio color. My daughter-in-law used it for her Christmas baking and then went out and bought herself the light blue one. Great machine!

Handy Kitchen Gadget

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I bought this approximately three months ago as my last one lasted over 10 years. I love this product.  It is a high quality, powerful aid in the kitchen. I like that I don't have to mix anything by hand anymore as my shoulders and back, can't do it. I really find  the bowl cover attachment handy as it allows you to add ingredients as the machine is mixing and diminishes the mess of flour poping out of the bowl when it's mixing.  If you have a baker in the family this is a wonderful gift.

Powerful kitchen tool!

I never thought I could make all this. Kitchen aid is honestly a good investment. A helping hand in the kitchen!

Very disappointing experience.
The mixer looks beautiful in matte black, but the performance is not good. The head does not lock properly, it moves while mixing, and the bowl keeps shaking. It makes it very hard to use and doesn't feel stable at all.
I expected much better quality for the price.

Great mixer, but had issues with the locking

Need to return mixer or ask for a replacement for one of the attachments.  The dough hook is defective and will not fit onto the post (the other attachments fit well.) Please send instructions on how to return or information on a free replacement dough hook.
