Kitchenaid Espresso

I held off writing a review until we had used the Espresso Machine for a while.  I tried various amounts of grounds and cup sizes on the machine before figuring out which variable worked for us.  My husband and I enjoy an Americano.  We do not like it real strong.  So, I make it with the single serve basket, set for 2 cups of espresso.  Then I add 12 oz of water from the frother wand.  I like it and it tastes smooth.  We also purchased a grinder with multiple levels of grounds and only grind what we are actually going to use in a cup.  The machine works well and we have had no issues with it at all.

Kitchen Aid

I bought this a couple of months ago and have used this many time since then.  I like that it has a small footprint and looks nice sitting on the counter.  I bought it specifically for being able to steam milk for my hot tea and it does this very well.  I cannot speak to how well it makes espresso.

I have owned this now for about 2 months and can say without hesitation that is a VERY high quality Espresso Machine!  The honest truth is I drink at least 8 cups a day and my "little" KitchenAid Espresso is a genuine workhorse that is used throughout my day.  I am retired now and this is my first Espresso maker and I prefer it to regular coffee.  I also gave one to my younger sister and she too, enjoys it a LOT!!  

I do wish it had more pressure as there is a thin film of water left on the top of every brew but that may be normal as again, I have never owned an Espresso Machine so that may be part of the process.  I cannot recommend this enough to anyone that wants a beautifully made, good look and FAST espresso machine!

Damaged Device

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this in December and are not happy with it. Unlike other brand names which focus on personal Espresso Machines, this machine just isn't ideal. The portafilter is built so the water doesn't really press the coffee out completely and is hard to remove the puck. It is a messy coffee mush. The steamer will shut off mid-steam and doesn't get the milk very hot, mainly lukewarm and doesn't froth very well. I do not recommend this machine if you would like to have homemade artisan espresso coffee.

Does not meet Espresso Machine Standards

I bought it trusting the KitchenAid brand. The machine really looks high-quality, but it didn't draw any water. I regretted it just two hours after purchasing. Since the service hours are only during the day, I couldn't reach anyone for help. It was my first time trying KitchenAid, and unfortunately, it ended in disappointment.

Nice quality but didn't work!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this expresso machine one mouth ago. The water doesn't get as hot as it should be. I make two double shots each morning. The first double shot the water is still on top of the grounds. I make the next double shot it has even a little more water on top of the grounds than the first and the puck, since we had this machine, I have to scoop out with a spoon. Never have I been able to pop the puck it out.
