Can be natural and gorgeous, but may not suit all hair colors.

Can enhance natural color, but may not match expected shade.

Perfect purchase, coming on time every 3 months with no delay- thanks!

Perfect purchase

The old formula was the best on the market, one of the few demi-permanent options out there. The new formula is more expensive, less enduring, and the restrictive shade selection makes it pretty much unusable for me. The only black shade is extremely warm and reddish.

Bring back the old formula and shade range

I bought the casting 923 Blond Very Light Vanilla Coloration Semi-Permanent I am extremely disappointed with the color which is very dark. I used to use the 1010 Iced Light Blonde Cream Casting that I loved. Now that I no longer exist, I don’t know what to turn to to be satisfied!

Product change and disappointment.

I used the old formula for years. Light brown. It made my hair a beautiful ash-brown shade. It lasted ages. The new light brown formula made my hair a very dark brassy cheap red/brown. Very phony looking. I hate it. Why did you change the formula and double the price? This isn't very good. So hard to find semi-permanent on the market. Your was the best now it is terrible.

New formula sucks

Not Demi. Did not wash out. It's been 3 months on virgin hair and my hair has not gone back to the original shade

Did not wash out after months

I have been using this product for years and would always purchase the light brown shade. The company has recently changed their packaging and the colour options. I picked up the hazelnut light brown thinking that it would give me similar results to what I have always used. Sadly it was not a comparable colour. The finished result was much darker than the one that I always use. It left my hair with a red tint that looks unnatural. The dye itself also stained by scalp, a problem that I have not had before. I will try a lighter shade next time and hopefully have better and more natural looking results. Otherwise, I will sadly be looking for a different brand.

Color darker than expected

I used to use the gloss creme 801 that is discontinued now. I tried this one and it's so dark and not shiny like the old version. I have naturally a lot of shine and colours in my hair and it's like instead of bringing this up it made all my natural golden highlights dark compare to the 801. It's deceiving that you stoped offering gloss that starts with 8 and comes with a 0 after and a 1. No choices anymore for highlighting the natural silver tone . My hair are … boring now . Disappointing. Even the” 8” seams really dark compare to before .

Disappointing ….

I used the original Casting Creme and its predecessor Health Look for YEARS and always got a good outcome. Then came along a new formula, new box, doubling of the price, and an inferior product. Not only that, they no longer have "dark brown." What kind of hair colour line doesn't have dark brown?? I tried the "dark chocolate brown" and it was far too dark.

I does not last "28 shampoos." It never did, but this was completely washed out in just four shampoos. It's more like "temporary," instead of "demi-permanent." I was glad, because I didn't like the colour. I tried the next-lightest shade "chestnut brown." It was too light and had a brassy undertone. Again, I was glad at how quickly it washed out, because I didn't like it. I'm done with Casting Creme, now.

I went back to using Natural Instincts which I'd abandoned years ago when they changed the formula one too many times to one that just wasn't very effective. It's stil not the greatest, but it's better than Casting Creme by a mile - and a LOT cheaper. They actually have dark brown (the same dark brown shade Casting Creme used to have) and doesn't wash out in four shampoos.

So very, very disappointed. They shouldn't have tried to fix something that wasn't broke.

New formula is terrible

I have bought dark brown for many years but when you changed the formula, it was a disaster ! I've tried those new formulas, my hair turned red/orange not brown. It only last for 2-3 shampoo now not 5-6 like before. I don't know what to do now and my hair are ruined. Why you changed the formula ? It was cheaper for you to make more profits on us ?

Terrible

Very disappointed in the product change! I used Casting Color for almost 20 years, mostly 801. This new one in 923 left my hair darker and with red/orange tones!!! Plus it's not shiny anymore.... Why did you have to run a good thing?? Time to change brands after 20+ years I guess...

Very disappointed!!!!!!!
