<b>Liquid Rubber Polyurethane Deck Coating</b> forms a hard yet flexible, single-component, protective membrane that combines specific polyurethane and acrylic polymers. This easy to apply, ultra-low VOC coating can be used to protect decks, docks, outdoor walkways, floors, and much more. Given the cured membrane's superior strength, waterproof properties, and high adhesion to most substrates, Liquid Rubber's Polyurethane Deck Coating is an ideal solution for indoor and outdoor, and hot and cold environments. This high tensile coating is designed for multiple surfaces including wood, concrete, and metal and should be applied 3-4 coats. <p><b>Application:</b><br />Can be applied using a brush, roller, or single component sprayer to provide a seamless and fully adhered membrane to most substrates. <br />Ensure a clean, dry surface and use Liquid Rubber Deck and Patio Cleaner. Fill gaps, seams, and screw holes with a high quality wood filler.<br /> 40 square feet per gallon, final coverage after 3-4 generous coats. 30 square feet per gallon for high traffic areas (4-5 generous coats) For larger areas, pour onto surface and roll.<br />Apply the next coat as soon as possible, not allowing extended time between if possible. Ensure coating is dry to the touch with no uncured material underneath before moving on to the next coat.<br />Avoid hot, direct sunlight during application and apply about 10C/50F. Remove painters tape while still wet.</p><p><b>Drying Time:</b><br />At 25C/77F and 50% relative humidity, fully cures in 72 hours at 1mm. Curing time increases in colder temperatures or higher humidity so environmental conditions must be considered before application.</p>

Has a smooth, glossy finish with a nice color.

Application is straightforward and quick.

My step was professionally painted last year and you can see how the paint has worn off and chipped.  I wanted something stronger that would last and tried Liquid Rubber.  You can feel the difference, it's thick and strong.  The step gets slippery too and I like the Textured option.   I sanded, primed, applied 1 coat of the Smooth Deck Coating.  Then I added a 2nd coat of the Smooth everywhere but on top of the step where I added a coat of the Textured.  Really happy with how it turned out and was super easy.

Step is like brand new now!

Love this product-Polyurethane Coating

Painted a plywood cargo box. I used a sponge roller, applying alternate coats at 90 degrees. The result is a nice texture, resembling a coarse fabric.

I would have given 5 stars but this particular model of liquid rubber is the "texture" which makes it non-slip but is very aggressive almost rough which will last longer but maybe a little rough on bare feet I did use a light sanding when dry with a drywall screen type paper on a pole which smoothed it out making it less rough it  is been used on a pontoon boat deck and it went on very thick great coverage needed at least 2 coats  because plywood surface was very dry and I did use their primer which is very watery but provides a great seal coat an 18ft Bass buggy no real furniture- couches or long seats Price was ok and shipping was very quick Texas to Arizona  see how long it lasts

Incredibly thick and yet very easy to handle/spread on my outdoor shower project. used shower last weekend after putting 3 layers on ....NO LEAKS! very impressed with this project and the sales rep for his recommendation .  Karl E. Boyd.  Woodstock, N.B.

Thick and Easy

the product quality is extremely poor.  it would maybe hold up on a covered patio where it saw absolutely zero elements.  the name is kind of deceptive because the product is not a liquid rubber it is essentially a paint.  everything was prepped properly including using their primer about five coats beforehand.  2 years in and it has peeled off 80% of our deck.  If you have treated or cedar decking I would sooner leave it there then apply this product. The colour is nice (beige).  we are located in the Lower Mainland area of British Columbia.

done according to instructions with the fibertape and primer was supposed to do 3 or 4 heavy coats ended up doing 9 coats and does not look good

I bought this product because it claimed to be a durable product that I would NOT have to re do my deck every year!!! cleaned the deck ,used Goodfellas Woodgrain Filler, sanded ,vacuumed & cleaned, put 2 coats of Liquid Rubber multi purpose primer , then had to put 3 coats of polyurethane deck coating to get complete coverage. 6 months it is starting to separate from the wood  coming up in sheets WOW all that MONEY & TIME

Even though they give you color swatches the color does not match. They said you must go to your local paint store to get the color they say they are sending to you. Total garbage!! Will never use their product again!! What a waste of money!
