Initially I ordered just two pairs of these boy shorts. My main purchase was a bra and I saw that the shorts were all cotton, on sale, and about to be "closed out," so I thought why not. They turned out to be so comfortable that I quickly ordered three more. I love the black polka dot style. Cotton underwear is getting harder and harder to find and for me synthetic underwear is unwearable. Well-fitting boy shorts are rare. I'm sorry that Maidenform appears to be discontinuing these and replacing them with microfiber versions. I understand why so many reviewers say that they've been ordering these cotton boy shorts for years.

Comfortable Cotton Boy Short Underwear

Maidenform

Maidenform boy shorts are the best underwear I have ever wore. They do not ride up they are all day wear and comfortable

The best wear underwear

One Hanes Place

I've been ordering these from Macy's for the last couple of years and was happy to find them available through Walmart. These have been my go-to cotton boy short undies since I found them, them. Unfortunately, they seem to be discontinued and only available in a size small (I ordered 2X). That apparently is the only size left.

Unfortunately Being Discontinued

walmart.com

Great fit, very comfortable. I purchased 8 pairs. One of them the thread unraveled and the whole waistband fell apart

Good

Awesome for physical work, I do night stocking and sweat a lot! Cons: too high. Have to roll down 2 inches so they don't show under my low-rise jeans or wear a long shirt to hide it. Run very small. I wear size 5 pants but had to get size 8...7 fit, but I like a little more roomy fit. I wish a lower- rise version was available

The boyshorts are the most comfortable panties I've ever worn. Have bought only them for years now and hope they can keep making them 100% cotton.

Boyshorts

I wish these came in a larger size. I love them, they are really comfortable, but my belly is larger than the rest of me and these boy shorts roll down if I'm wearing loose fitting pants. It's embarrassing to have to pull them back up every few minutes.

They roll down

The cotton lining comes out after a couple washes even though I never put them in the dryer. I line dry them only but still the lining comes out. It is glued and not sewn. That is an issue.

Lining

Ordered multiples of styles and sizes I already had so was pretty sure they'd fit. Of the 8 pairs of boyshorts ordered, 3 are unwearable because the stitching around the leg openings is super tight and does not stretch. On a few pairs the rear is significantly skimpier than on pairs of the same style I already have too but that's not a total deal breaker. Note that the tags are attached in such a way that it's impossible to try these on without removing them so returning wasn't an option. I do like the pairs that fit but won't be purchasing these online again.

Inconsistent sizing, lack of quality control

Design has changed
Tight around thighs (no give)
It feels like it's missing elastic
Very uncomfortable and disappointing
Please bring back the cotton and lace boyshorts
