Initially I ordered just two pairs of these boy shorts. My main purchase was a bra and I saw that the shorts were all cotton, on sale, and about to be "closed out," so I thought why not. They turned out to be so comfortable that I quickly ordered three more. I love the black polka dot style. Cotton underwear is getting harder and harder to find and for me synthetic underwear is unwearable. Well-fitting boy shorts are rare. I'm sorry that Maidenform appears to be discontinuing these and replacing them with microfiber versions. I understand why so many reviewers say that they've been ordering these cotton boy shorts for years.

Great looking boyshorts

been wearing these cotton comfy boy shorts for years.  they're great under dresses, skirts and pants because they don't show panty lines like bikini ones do.

i LOVE these shorts

Quality cotton/spandex blend that doesn't stretch out or ride up.  Wide elastic in the waist which I would call mid-rise rather than low. No elastic in the leg which is great for my thick boyish thighs. I'm an 18 in jeans and the 9 fits great. No show in jeans or dress slacks.

Just right

There's room for "the boys!" Well constructed and designed boyshort fits men well also - this is the cotton version of the Dream Boyshort, which is a favorite of mine because it fits and supports male anatomy better than many men's shorts. Coverage is very good, doesn't bunch up, doesn't creep, doesn't slide down - it stays in place and does its job. Guys 32-34 inch waist size 7 is probably for you.

Well cut and great fit for guys

These are great! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because:
a] colors in cotton boyshorts are boring in comparison to the non-cotton boyshorts AND 
b] Maidenform keeps sneaking in more & more spandex & non-cotton materials. WHEN YOU CALL A PRODUCT "COTTON," it needs to be, at least, 95% COTTON. Oh, & lacey tops are uncomfortable & don't lend anything to your underwear. Thanks for listening.

LONG FOR THE GOOD OLE DAYS!

I wish these came in a larger size. I love them, they are really comfortable, but my belly is larger than the rest of me and these boy shorts roll down if I'm wearing loose fitting pants. It's embarrassing to have to pull them back up every few minutes.

I recently bought 6 of these in the same size but so far one of them was really small. Maybe it was mislabel? I'm not sure but it was a tight fit. Seems like the fabric is different than before and the sewing on the leg is tighter than before. Overall I still like them but I wish they were the high quality and perfect fit like before. The fabric seems thinner now but it's still soft.

I have been purchasing these boy shorts for many years. I just ordered six of them and four of the six are falling apart after the first washing and I wash them in a hosiery bag. Recently, the quality is horrible.
