good deal, good stuff… your run of the mill acrylic yarn. the pink is a very pretty color in person. I ordered red and pink to crochet valentines %26 they turned out really cute! the white border is mainstays cotton

Color was perfect for what I needed. It wasn't very soft, but that's OK because I didn't need it to be soft for this project. I would buy it again and again it's excellent yarn.

Purple Hair for Doll

I've been disappointed with how the quality of Red Heart Super Saver has gone south since they stopped making it in the US, so I've been trying to find a better value yarn. I decided to try this yarn after seeing some reviews on YouTube, and I am so glad I did. It's cheaper and softer/smoother than RHSS, and my test swatches held up impressively well after machine washing and tumble drying. I only wish this yarn came in more colors and was more reliably in stock online!

Even better than expected

I love this yarn. I've made 35 hats of all different colors using mixed together and separate and it is really so enjoyable to crochet and now I'm beginning to knit as well so that's another occupation or hobby I have and the yarn is just wonderful and thank you so much. It's very soft and and lovely.

my only dislike is that mainstay yarn doesn't come in more colors. more color variety of different blues, teals, turquoise, pinks, etc. would be perfect. walmart, please make it happen. make more colors

I have been an avid crocheter for 35 years. I try to use quality but cost efficient products. I really like the mainstay yarn. It has more yardage at a cheaper price than the popular name brand. it is easy to work with. colors are vibrant and the yarn isnt easy to break. It produces quality handmade products that i like to give as gifts.

great quality yarn

this is a good product and price is great.  The only thing I have to say is that it is AWFUL to start the skein. I have to try an tear the whole middle out to find the start. It should be on the label how to start and a starter strand hanging out of the end. This is totally frustrating and a great waste of time!!!!

when i got to the middle it was a knotted mess ,im just trying to salvage what i can at this point . its so tangled im afraid. I've wasted my money. the yarn is really soft and worked ok for my project until i got to the last of the yarn. you get what you pay for.
