Loved this yarn and used it to finger knit a bunch
Of bands for belts, necklaces and even hat bands by carrying a strand of red, white and blue together to finger knit with!  They were loved by everyone and very reasonable! ❤️   You could do your school colors too! Fun

love red heart yarn. Have used it for YEARS to make blankets,raps, and furniture covers  .  holds up well in washer and dryer.  have made numerous things for twin granddaughters.  relaxing to crochet.  never learned how to knit.

For the price, the quality of this yarn outstanding. It is soft and doesn't irritate my skin even with tighter tension. The strands stay together and I never have the issue of snagging one or two with my hook that I do with other budget yarns (if you know, you know). I have noticed my projects are also less pill-y with this yarn. My only complaint is that they need more colors!!

Surprisingly Great Quality

i love everything about mainstays yarn. I only wished there were more colors to choose from just as red heart yarn does and are always in stock and then I would use more of mainstays yarn in my crochet projects than any other yarn because I love the way it crochets up.

I have been an avid crocheter for 35 years. I try to use quality but cost efficient products. I really like the mainstay yarn. It has more yardage at a cheaper price than the popular name brand. it is easy to work with. colors are vibrant and the yarn isnt easy to break. It produces quality handmade products that i like to give as gifts.

If you were buying %26 using more than 1 of this yarn it would possibly be good (I did not crochet any of it this skein). It did not match my Red heart yarn, so I had to return it. I'm making scarves %26 needed all of what I ordered to do them %26 needed them all to be the same shade %26 color of black.
