Our 11 yr old wanted this bed for her birthday.  She LOVES it!  She made herself a little girl cave underneath.  Great space saving bed.  It took about an hour for my husband to put this bed together, so that wasn't bad.  Everything was in the box, nothing missing.  We are very happy with this purchase!

Great loft bed

We bought this for my son's tight space at college.  It is perfect - he was able to fit two dressers underneath, and has lots of extra space behind the dressers for more storage.  The bed is very sturdy - no shakiness or noisiness.  It took my son and husband about 2 hours to put together, but it wasn't difficult.  We bought a twin XL comforter to go on it, as we knew it would be hard to make the bed with a wider one.  The twin XL worked well.  It covers the edges of the bed, and he doesn't have to fight with it to make it look neat. We are very happy with this purchase!

A great buy!

Since some folks complained of creaking noise, I went to the hardware store and bought silicone washers and graphite.  I still used the metal washers that came with the bed, but I also put the silicone ones on BOTH SIDES of each bolt and anywhere else that metal touched metal. I also used a tiny bit of graphite on each bolt before I put them in place, and in those few areas where a piece just fit into a divet. My last trick was in the support for the bottom of the actual bed are...I placed a strip a couple layers thick of foam shelf liner between the middle support bar and the plastic brace bars across the top.  And the number one trick, of course, was to tighten each bolt very well!  This bed does not make the slightest bit of noise, no matter what we do to it.  I do think the manufacturer should add another bracer bar in the back for more stability and include wall anchors in the kit.  I have not anchored it to the wall yet, but think I will, as it still has a little too much rocking motion for me.  But it's darn sure quiet!  I did have to have my husband move the box into the bedroom on a dolly, but my daughter and I had no problems in assembly.  The extra steps took us an extra hour because silicone washers & graphite are slippery little buggers, but the extra steps were so worth it!  My 12 year old granddaughter loves her new bed!

GREAT BED!

This product was inexpensive, quick to be delivered and easy to assemble. I was able to put this loft together by myself before my girls got home from school. I only needed another set of hands when attaching the top section. My girls were excited and surprised. I put a full size bed length wise underneath with ease. I can also orient width wise with room for a night table depending on the size of the room. My daughter's used to fight for bed space and keep each other awake. Now bedtime is a breeze. I highly recommend this loft bed. It's sturdy, functional and cute.

I ordered this loft bed for my five year old son to free up some space in his bedroom. So far, we are very happy with it. It is sturdy, and i like the way the safety rails go all the way around without any opening. It took him the day to get use to it, and now he thinks he's a pro. I rated this a 4 star and not a five because of the rails on the ladders going up. They are thin and do hurt your feet. I had read about this in other reviews and had bought some pool noodles to put on during assembly and now it's perfect. My son loves his new bed and we couldn't be more happy with it.

AWESOME LOFT BED

Bought this to add additional sleeping for grand kids. Had a queen bed and did not want to remove existing furniture, but needed more sleeping room. The queen bed fits under the bunk in an L shape, width of queen is under the bunk. Works great. It came with a strap to secure to the wall, but it is sturdy enough and with the queen under it, did not feel it was needed. It looks as pictured. Some of the snaps used to secure the rails in the bed, need a strong person, or what worked to get them started and use something to then push them in with. Just used what was handy, but stopped the pinching of skin trying to put them in. Did take a couple of hours to put it together, one male adult, one old grandma, and 3 children. My job was just reading instructions and finding parts and holding things. Children were able to do screws and allen wrench though. So not hard to put it together, was just a little time consuming in our cramped area to put it together, small bedroom with queen bed in there.

Purchased 2 beds, one for my 15 year old daughter and one for my 12 year old daughter. Easy to assemble - very simple. Easy to change and make beds after you get used to it, not a problem at all and it really opened up more space in the rooms. If there was any knock, it would be that there was some wobble in the beds after I assembled them when the girls were climbing the ladder. I simply added piece of wood the same length as the back support piece and secured it to the wall studs. Very sturdy now.

Overall good for the price

Bought this so that we could fit a queen size bed in a T shape underneath. Theres not many full size loft at this price so thats good. I was able to do the construction myself for the most part however needed my 7 years olds assistance once about halfway through. In total it took me about 6 hours alone but the first hour and half was spent trying to undo many mistakes. Pay really close attention to photo details as some positions are implied and not explained. Also it operates off  letter stickers to identify parts and tools and we had about 4 stickers missing so it added to the stress. Try your best to hand tighten the screws before using the tool! Itll help. The bed does hold the weight and seems sturdy so as long as you truly tighten all the many many screws. Be warned however it is wobbly. Also the dimensions are a bit off, its suppose to fit a full size mattress however the mattress fits very very tight! It is really hard to fit sheets and blankets on since there is no wiggle room. This could be more difficult for a used mattress. Big downfall. Lastly its looks great having the metal bar surround the bed however it should have had an opening near the ladder as my 7 year old is learning to get used to the hard metal and climbing over the rail to get in and out. Definitely banging her shins. Also Im hoping to find some cushion type things to put on the rail. The metal is tough. In all, You get what you pay. Hoping to have this for a few years until the kid out grows the bunk bed phase.

Tight full size dimensions

After assembling, we realized that one must climb over the rather high railing to get onto the bed. That creates a slight danger and is quite difficult for some as the railing is at least 8 inches high depending on the mattress. The better loft beds have a space or cut-off to easily enter the top area of the bed.
A good price but poor design. Walmart let me return it with no problem. 5 stars for Walmart's customer service and policy!
