I don't like to purchase things off of TikTok because everyone is trying to influence you. So that one eyeliner that everyone's talking about on there I decided to do a compare and contrast with this product. I just got it yesterday and I absolutely love love love it. It stays in place and goes on smooth.

With so many reviews about not being able to sharpen this amazing eyeliner, I want to share this simple reason why people struggle with this. You have to use the small sharpening space on the dual sharpener, not the large side. I've tried many different brands of sharpeners and they all work. The one I use most is my Revlon dual sharpener. Hope this helps!

How to sharpen

How to push the liner out if the tube without sharpening it. Take the top end cap off. Take a wooden skewer(flat end) push it in till you get the liner out of the tip. It doesn't dig into the liner  must have a cap inside.  No mess.  No need to sharpen the pencil.  Love the product. Just had to figure out how to get it out with ruining my sharpeners. Don't forget to put the end cap back on.

Found easy way to sharpen it

How do I get the gel stick to extend. It has worn down And is no longer usable. I have tried twisting it At the base to bring out more of the gel pen but nothing happens. Please advise.

Impossible to sharpen 
I tried three different sharpeners, Maybelline included. The PLASTIC PENCIL makes it impossible to sharpen and used this pencil more than 2 or 3 times before you have to discard

Waste of money

Most of this pencil went into the sharpener! I think I got to use it maybe twice! Otherwise, you just sharpen it and then the plastic stabs you in the eye so that you have to keep sharpening it until it just disappears into the sharp sharpener! It's a waste of money I would never ever buy again.

Horrible. Waste of money!

A few months back I bought the maybelline tattoo studio gel eyeliner. It is one of the worst eyeliners I've used. It's hard. It's too light you really can't see it unless you press down hard. It doesn't come with the sharpener, breaks easily and it's loose. Absolutely terrible. Will never buy eyeliner from you guys that's how disappointed I am with you guys. Sorry for the rant, but it really is the truth.

I have used this liner for a while but as of lately I'm gone thru the liner very quickly. I sharpened it and have to go 7 to 8 times maybe more to get some point. Many times it breaks off and more sharpening. I am now going to find another brand, I am loyal to a brand but it appears you product is not. Photo attached

900 Deep Onyx Onyx Profound Gel Eyeliner

I was so excited when I found this gorgeous teal color and I made the purchase. Well, this is the LAST time I buy an eye pencil by Maybelline. Reviews are spot on - This is a very poorly manufactured item. The tip broke off on the very first use and I wasn't even applying any pressure! This is ridiculous and not what I would expect from an American company. I will avoid this brand at all costs now.

Awful! Tip broke off immediately - can't resharpen

Bought one and loved it until I had to sharpen it after 3 uses. Went out and bought the sharpener that they recommended and nothing.  Bought another eyeliner thinking maybe I just got defective one, nope, wasted yet more money.  Don't waste your time.
