My wife loves this over the old style clay liter as it is much easier for her to carry at 78 young years of age to take care of her 4 "children" and it is very low dust so the rest of the room does not get all dusty.

I love this cat litter, I have a disability and can't lift heavy cat litters. This litter is actually light weight and I xan lift it. The litter doesn't have a ton of dust like other brands. I was also looking for a litter that doesn't track everywhere (some light weight litter gets everywhere), I live in a bedroom with a washroom and the litter stays in the washroom and not all over my bedroom. I also love the fact that it does cover the smell very well, having a limited space I am so happy that my bedroom doesn't smell (huge win as my cat is allergic to scented plug ins and sprays)

Excellent Cat litter

My absolute favorite kitty litter. I have 4 cats and it works great. it last about a month for me and I never have a bad smell. Plus when I go to throw it in my garbage it doesn't weigh a ton. I tried a bunch of other litters before. Even tries Pretty Litter but for the price and how great it works and how long it last this is by far the best! I definitely recommend!!!!!

This is the best cat litter I've ever bought. Its lightweight, which makes is easy for carrying. Its odor control is amazing, plus it has a nice light scent. Cats love it, and its price point is great. Plus you get a nice bucket as a bonus. Highly recommend this litter, especially if you have multiple cats.

Best Cat Litter

Back Saver!!

I can not believe how much easier this is to lift, dump....then scoop, and dump into trash can! I have been buying the regular Tidy Cats clumping litter for years, and broke down and tried the light-weight after one of our rescue kitties got sick and was tickling like crazy on his meds. I was changing out the litter every couple days, and the regulars clumping litter was super heavy when wet because he was drinking alot more on his meds. Needless to say, the switch to light-weight clumping litter was a glorious thing! HUGE difference in weight especially with the amount of urinary going into the litter. Saved my back, knees and shoulder alot!

Also, Love, Love, Love the crisp clean fresh scent. Just smells like cool, clean air on a nice Early Spring Day...nothing drowning in overdone florals.

Tidy Cats Lightweight Clumping kitty litter

My preferred litter. You can use more litter without it being so heavy in the box that the wet litter sticks at the bottom and stinks. IYKYK. it also fluffier so it works better, density wise. Doesn't break the back either. And I like to reuse the bucket it comes in for storage, for example my cat food. I have little mongrels that require a close container because they like to help themselves.

The big plus for this cat litter is that it is lightweight. It's better at controlling odor than others. The big negative IMO is that the litter gets caught in the cat's paws, thus leaving litter grains around the house. Reasonably priced for the large pail size.

Not Perfect But Better Than Other Varieties

Something is different about this litter the last two times I have purchased it. It is darker, doesn't absorb liquid, and most of all DOES NOT CONTROL ODOR EVEN THE FIRST DAY! The cat's paws and sinuses are irritated. My entire house smells like cat urine. There is nothing to indicate on the packaging they've changed the contents but with current manufacturing standards how can anyone know what the problem is?? I am out over $50 on useless cat litter.

Something has changed!

For 2 years most people did not know I had a cat. Until he came out to visit. I have a covered litter tray. One cat. I usually don't even have to check for a couple days. I'm disabled and honestly It's gone longer than that before no stink. I've always used tidy cat. This tidy cat litter on day two STUNK.  I dumped the whole thing out I started over again, cleaned out sterilized it. Again which is not easy to do when you're disabled. Then again day two it stunk. This has never happened with the black label. I will never use this kind of tidy cat ever again. it even costs more than what I usually buy. You should stop making it.

Longtime tidy cat user will never use this again

I've been purchasing the 17lb bins of Tidy Cats Lightweight Litter for years. The Red lid, the Gray lid, the Blue lid etc. Never had an issue... Til last 6 months or so. Go through a bin every few months. The last 3 bins I've purchased have not been the same "formula". It's like cement  when cat urinates or a very solid clay-like material that spreads out all over the bottom of litter box. Awful!! My cat literally had a physical mid summer and is fine, so it's not her urine! Switched to something else just to see if it was the litter itself and sure enough it's the Tidy Cats Litter that's the issue. I've switched brands and will not be purchasing this brand ever again.
