Colors are true to description and beautiful.

This is a beautiful shade of blue.. I bought it to make my husband anew pair of socks for next winter.  There might be enough to make him two pairs, or maybe a neck scarf to keep his ears warm, too. 

The picture is of a different pair of socks I made, just to show what I will be using the yarn  for.

I am loving this beautiful yarn.  It's soft, nice to work with and is very great quality yarn.   The oatmeal color is gorgeous.   I'm making a baby blanket with it.

Gorgeous yarn

I'm working on a huge project and needed some yarn that was durable and abundant in quantity. This skein fit the bill! I absolutely love the rich color! The yarn is easy to use and my project worked up quickly! My stitches were even and I didn't experience any yarn splitting issues. 
This yarn is affordable, accessible and has a wide variety of color options. The texture of this yarn is a bit stiff and rough to the touch. It's perfect for beginners, as it wouldn't be too slippery and slide off of the crochet hook/knitting needle. It would also work well for hat making! It was perfect for my needs!

Even stitches!

I LOVE this yarn!  So, I have crocheted for over 15 years!  Yes!  And I have tried TONS of different kinds of yarn.  THIS yarn is great because it is so strong and durable.  I have even washed things made out of this yarn and it was okay, BUT you CANNOT put something made with this yarn in the dryer.  I did that and it melted it into a gross gooey mess!  So, just don't do THAT!  Haha!  No, but this yarn is great for beginners, that are creating a blanket or it is great if you are making Amigurumi inspired dolls or creatures.  It really makes great dolls!  The one thing I will say, is it is not as soft as some other yarns.  But, yet, it has lots of other good qualities.  And it is affordable, and comes in lots of colors.  I have included some photos of things I have created, using this yarn.

This was the fifth or sixth skein of yarn I purchased. It's worked up nicely into four toddler sweaters. Although only three are shown and I replaced the buttons with cars on one and cats between the hearts as heart buttons were not available for fourth sweater.

Wonderful yarn and color.

Yarn isn't very soft but I'm going to use it in a plastic canvas project so it doesn't matter if it is real soft or not. When I picked it out online I was thinking it was as much and as big as most other Red Heart Super Saver yarn but boy was I wrong. This yarn was a little smaller in size. This is what I get for not checking on the size and/or amount I was supposed to get. I will show 2 different balls of yarn, the Tealleaf one is on the bottom vs. another color of green.

Waste of money for such a small amount of yarn

i was disappointed in this yarn as it had several knots,  (tying two ends together).  i shouldnt have to cut the knots and start with a new piece of yarn each time.  
Also, this blue yarn was "scraggly"... unlike other Red Heart yarn I've used.  I had a crochet project order that I was under a deadline to use this yarn, so I used it, but I wasn't happy with it.

Dissapointed in Montana

The yarn is not soft, it's scratchy. It irritates my skin. The very same red heart super saver yarn that you buy at the local Walmart does not feel like his one.

Don't buy yarn online.

The amethyst Red Heart super saver yarn is a beautiful rich purple color. The yarn has a tight consistent twist and doesn't fray. 
It is very rough and stiff. 
I would not recommend it for clothing or blankets. It would probably be good for crafts or scrubbies for doing dishes. 
Not worth the money at all. 
Over the years, Red Heart has been a consistently good quality yarn for knit and crochet projects. This a medium weight %234 yarn that is normally good for clothing, scarves, blankets, etc. 
The quality has gone down over the years.
 I purchased three skeins online, one amethyst, one citron and one claret; all beautiful colors, but all are rough.
I regret the purchase. I definitely will not use this yarn in the future and should return  it except for the fact that I did use some of the yarn of each skein.
