I would suggest having a helper when you install this. My favorite part is the slow close feature because my kida slam everything not soft close.

High quality and practical

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never been a fan of an open garbage can in the middle of a kitchen, even with a lid. It is unsightly and tends to create an area for messy people to make the floor messy. We looked for under cabinet trash cans for our kitchen, but never found one that looked quite right, so we're so thankful this one was given to us.

Installation was a breeze, primarily because I didn't have to do it alone. (I recommend a second a person) You'll want to make sure you have the dimensions of your cabinet correct, as these are designed to attach to your cabinet door. The wood is real wood, sturdy and the sliding mechanism is smooth. The included trash can is the standard size, so it will hold a lot of garbage!

A much cleaner aesthetic

Definitely not anything I could do on my own, but luckily, I have a handy husband who is able to install it without any issues. This is such a great addition in my kitchen. I have dogs that stay getting into the trash, and this completely solved that issue for me. The bucket in the back is perfect for keeping extra trash bags. It really is a no-brainer to put this in your kitchen. ￼

Nice addition to kitchen

We are in the process of building our new home, we haven't quite gotten to the cabinet stage yet but are getting closer. We have looked over this rev a shelf wastebin and it looks very simple to install, and I love that it has a smaller bin in the back. It will be perfect for our compost bin. The hardware and instructions were all included and is very well made.

Perfect addition

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product came with a booklet with step by step instructions. Unfortunately they were somewhat difficult to follow. My husband was able to figure it out but it did take much longer than the estimated installation time of 30-45 minutes. Reserve more like 3 hours. We also ran into a hiccup because our cabinet is almost 13 inches wide, and apparently this only fits 12 inch cabinets. We were able to add some washers to make it work. Now that it is installed, we love it!! The garbage can itself isn't very big but that was expected. The container in back is awesome for storing the extra garbage bags.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's built very strong, I love the two bins, the color is perfect in which it matches with my kitchen, and I like the idea of hiding my kitchen trash. The only thing is that my husband had to make some adjustments in the cabinet because it wasn't the right fit so he had to use an electric saw to cut a piece of our kitchen cabinet. I know it's going to turn out good after it's done. Super excited and something new.

Guess where is my trash?

The wood frame is excellent. Would be nice if the ball bearing slides were soft close. Biggest problems are they sent me the wrong size at 14 and three-quarter inches wide instead of 15 inches as advertised, which would've fit my cabinet perfectly. Rather than go through the hassle of returning and re-ordering I shimmed 1/8 inch on each side. If you go to the Rev a shelf website, you'll notice these come in 1/4 inch increments to fit your cabinet width exactly. They sent  me a 4WCTM – 18DM2–162 instead of a 4WCTM – 18DM2. I also had to modify the brackets that attached to the cabinet door as it would not adjust enough to come up tight to the face frame. I had to enlarge the adjustment slots.
