I love this powder and the reviews were right. I find that in the office it mattifies all day. Maybe the five hour is for other conditions. It doesn't take a lot to work great and then there's no cakeiness either. I can't wait to try the pink shade. The loud kind of slips into the pan so I'm worried it won't travel well, but for $4 I can't imagine a better product or deal. I have $30 powders that don't work as well. I'm 42 and dry skin, too.

This matte pressed powdered is great.  It's lightweight and gives good coverage.  If you finish it off with Rimmel finishing spray, it stays on nicely.  It's good quality make up for my fair skin.  And you can use it with or without foundation, at least I do.  I really give this 5 stars all around.

This has been my go-to powder for many years now. I brush it over my foundation for all-day oil control and to hide the appearance of redness and blemishes. This leaves my skin tone looking even, prevents my face from looking shiny, and doesn't wear off during the day. It's perfect!

Perfect oil control and coverage for flawless look

I used to use a $55 make-up powder that I purchsed from a high-end department store. I still think that it's a great product. However, this Rimmel London Stay Matte Powder is blowing my mind. It is every bit as good as the expensive powder. The only difference that I can see is in my bank account.

Not cakey just flawless. Great value for an awesome powder. My skin is not oily, so it works great for me. Just need a little don't need to pile up on the face powder. Works for at least 8 hours before I need a touch-up. Buy it- great for mature skin.

I apply my powder with a Kabuki Brush and this powder is amazing!  It goes on nicely and stays on until I wash it off.  It sets my foundation and keeps my oily skin from shining like a new penny.  It is wonderful and I have used it ever since it first came on the market.

Beautiful Powder, Amazing Staying Power!

I wasn't expecting translucent powder to have much of an impact. I was just trying to even out my skin tone a bit. But on the first day I wore this, I got so many spontaneous compliments from people about how my skin looks! It really is a well-made powder foundation that goes on smoothly with a kabuki brush to massage it into the skin.  

Pros: Affordable, cruelty-free, portable size, surprisingly good coverage.
Cons: Strong perfume smell, no mirror, flimsy lid that will break easily.

I having use this product for 7 plus years. Was always my go to. Kept me shine free all day. I recently noticed I kept getting very oily only an hour into my day. Thinking it was my skin, I changed my skin care routine then I went on the hunt for a new mat sunscreen thinking it was my sunscreen. Only to find that rental reformulated their iconic powder. This is so sad I have no idea what powder I will now use. This new formulation is no good for us oily girls. I used to recommend this powder to everybody that was searching for a good setting powder to last all day. I really hope the old formulation comes back.

I used this exclusively for many years. They recently changed the formula - and I don't mean they tweaked it a bit. They changed the first ingredient from talc to mica, and several other main ingredients changed too. It's essentially a different product now and I hate it. This was the only powder foundation that I could use, but now it has a weird smell, less coverage, and makes my face weirdly shiny. It doesn't control oil as well either, despite the addition of kaolin. Now I have to find a replacement. BAD RIMMEL. You didn't even update the packaging to reflect the change in the formula.

It WAS a great product until they changed it

NEW FORMULA IS HORRIBLE AND NOT A MATTE FINISH. BEEN USING SANDSTORM FOR 20 PLUS YEARS AND NOW I HAVE TO FIND SOMETHING ELSE. IT'S SHINY AND SHOWS EVERY PORE. WHY WOULD YOU CHANGE THE FORMULA!!! IT WAS THE ABSOLUTE BEST MATTE FINISH POWER. IF IT AIN'T BROKE, DONT FIX IT! LOST A 20 YEAR CUSTOMER
