I had bought bookcases and desks in 2015 that are still standing strong today, but I needed another short bookcase. The colors matched perfectly, and the quality is the same as it was ten years ago. I was so happy to see Sauder available for this bookcase. I've been buying Sauder furniture for decades. The quality isn't what it used to be, but what furniture is? However, look for Sauder when buying these type pieces. You are rarely missing parts, the directions are detailed AND understandable and the piece will be sturdy and give years of use.

I bought these low bookshelves for my husband's upstairs office which is a converted attic that has a sloped ceiling and low walls.  Where the ceiling meets the wall the wall height is only 32" these bookshelves fit perfectly against those walls.  They were easy to assemble, look nice, and are sturdy enough to hold all of his books.  He liked the oiled oak color which also compliments the existing oak trim.

Bought for my grandsons toys in the living room and it has been great…has held up nicely..very sturdy and was easy to put together..my husband used wood glue with the wooden pegs and screws just to make it even more sturdy..buy one you won't be sorry

This is the second Sauder 2-shelf bookcase I have ordered from Wal-Mart online. I ordered the first one hoping it would be what I wanted and would be as pictured . It was and am looking forward to the second one to complete the console for in my living room. The bookcase was assembled at Wal-Mart at no cost to me. That in itself helped me make my decision to purchase it from Wal-Mart.

I just opened a counseling practice and needed a small bookcase. I saw this and decided it would be adequate. It turned out to be more than adequate. Weight give it a very solid feel. Has very professional look. Most of all. . . It was easy to put together.

Great look for a great price

The unit came packaged and was very well protected and had no damage. The unit was easy to assemble and looks very good. My only complaint was that I was missing one shelf pin and you could see the some of edges where two surfaces met (dark finish contrasted with particle board color) (reason for 4 stars vs 5 stars). I called the manufacturer and they sent me a replacement shelf pin and also sent me a touch up finish marker even though I did not ask for that. Overall, it is a very good value and half the cost of similar bookcases. It is also very sturdy. I was pleasantly surprised to see that there is clearance for binders on both shelves. I was prepared for being able to only fit binders on one of the surfaces. I would buy this again and had excellent customer service.

Sauder 2-Shelf Bookcase

this bookcase came very quickly to my house. the instructions were easy to read and the assembly was pretty quick. although i can't use it for all my albums, which is what i purchased it to hold, the bottom row does hold most of them. because of the trim piece at the top, i was unable to stand a second group of lps on the top shelf. it is a very handsome piece of furniture.

easy and quick to assemble

This is pretty good furniture.  It is not fine furniture.  It is particle pressed MDF board that has a laminate top. Having said that it works for a short time and for the price.  Take your time putting it together.  The peices don't always line up precisely.  Like I said, the is not fine furniture.  You may even have to use a furniture maker later to enhance scuff marks.  It's work the money but anymore than that.  You may as well go to a furniture store.  Walmart was quick and efficient I there delivery as all.

This pretty good!

I brought this bookcase to use as a self in my closet, I received it damage, but for what I am using it for it will not matter. I added a photo of the damage area. Nice bookcase but when it comes to shipping of the product, it just gets thrown around or it was damage before it left the manufacturer. Either way they need to add more foam in the packaging to protect the bookcase.
