This shelf is great. It is much more sturdy than the ones I would buy at the big box store. It was pretty easy to put together. I like the trim on the front of the shelves. It will help prevent the shelves from warping. Great design! I also love how you can buy matching pieces for your room. We bought an L shape desk.

We have purchased many of these book shelves over the years for ourselves and our children. Many are used for books, but many are used to store a variety of items. They are easy to assemble and have a nice overall appearance. And they hold up well. We are still using ones we purchased many years ago. I'm sure we'll be buying another one someday.

Great multipurpose bookshelf

They also offered ""Angi's"" help to put them together! We are using the shelves to redo our Library in our church and needed a perfect color

This is a solid piece of furniture. It looks great, and is as advertised-color, dimensions, etc. It is pretty heavy, so you may need more than one person to move it.

Functional Attractive Sauder Furniture

I am really impressed with the quality and look of this bookcase! The wood grain finish has a nice, rustic feel that looks much more expensive than it actually was. It’s the perfect height for my space, and the shelves feel very sturdy—I’ve got it loaded up with everything from heavy hardcover books to my Bluetooth speaker on top, and there’s no bowing at all.
​Pros:
​Great Depth: Plenty of room for larger books and even some decorative bins.
​Stability: It feels solid and well-balanced once assembled.
​Versatile: It fits perfectly in a bedroom or office nook without feeling bulky.
​This was exactly what I needed to get my collection organized. If you're looking for an affordable storage solution that actually looks great, this is it!

Sturdy, stylish and perfect for organizing!

Overall, this is an amazing bookcase for the price. I wanted something that wouldn't look cheap in my formal livingroom. This looks like a quality bookcase, and holds weight VERY nicely. I have no issues with the quality.

My two critiques are that the color isn't accurately displayed......The color is ALMOST black.....to me the picture looked dark brown.....

and that the back has a fold. I was hoping to avoid a folded back. And I'm just starting to realize you're not going to get a straight back unless you go totally wood, but at least the fold in this shelf isn't really obvious.

Nice bookcase for the money. Assembly is semi~easy. Not top quality, but looks good when you finish it. Lots of room for books, and knick knacks. With adjustable shelves.
 For the money, I would buy it again.

This is a decent bookcase, but I have ordered better from Sauder… and I think this one could be made just a little bit more sturdy on the top section!  I think the shelf units that are a little deeper in size are the better choice

This is a decent product

It looks great. It requires a large space to setup, and it should be near where you will use it, because it is one heave piece.. It is a 2 person job. It requires you to turn it over before the stabilizing back is put on putting stress on the cams it uses to keep it connected. We were unable to turn it over without the top and bottom separating, I think with one person it is not possible.  It is hard to move even with 2 people.... But it is a gorgeous bookcase and looks great. It is sturdy in place.

Great... but... heavy

I cannot believe how poor this quality is. The way it looks in the pictures, you would think it's much better than the cheaper bookshelves, but it's just particleboard. All fancied up to make it look good. It's most definitely going to fall apart soon.
