This shelf is great. It is much more sturdy than the ones I would buy at the big box store. It was pretty easy to put together. I like the trim on the front of the shelves. It will help prevent the shelves from warping. Great design! I also love how you can buy matching pieces for your room. We bought an L shape desk.

Shelving is used for office furniture. Putting it together is a two person job. Instructions are easy to follow but care is needed not to stress the cam and cam stems during assembly. I don't recommend using a power drill for the screws as they are made of softer metal.

This is an attractive product.

Great bookshelf! This is the second one we ordered because we liked the first one so much. Very easy to assemble, even for artsy, non engineers ;)

Stylish and easy to assemble

My husband & I are building a home library and these shelves are perfect for our needs. We ordered 2 and have them side by side, holding books, plants, candles, & trinkets. The shelves are beautiful and were very easy to assemble.

Perfect & easy

Very pleased with look and quality of these shelving units.  Instructions are clear and the third shelf it came together in less than 30 minutes.  Highly recommend.

Not your ordinary shelf!

This is a solid piece of furniture. It looks great, and is as advertised-color, dimensions, etc. It is pretty heavy, so you may need more than one person to move it.

Functional Attractive Sauder Furniture

I am really impressed with the quality and look of this bookcase! The wood grain finish has a nice, rustic feel that looks much more expensive than it actually was. It’s the perfect height for my space, and the shelves feel very sturdy—I’ve got it loaded up with everything from heavy hardcover books to my Bluetooth speaker on top, and there’s no bowing at all.

​Great Depth: Plenty of room for larger books and even some decorative bins.
​Stability: It feels solid and well-balanced once assembled.
​Versatile: It fits perfectly in a bedroom or office nook without feeling bulky.
​This was exactly what I needed to get my collection organized. If you're looking for an affordable storage solution that actually looks great, this is it!

Sturdy, stylish and perfect for organizing!

Overall, this is an amazing bookcase for the price. I wanted something that wouldn't look cheap in my formal livingroom. This looks like a quality bookcase, and holds weight VERY nicely. I have no issues with the quality.

My two critiques are that the color isn't accurately displayed......The color is ALMOST black.....to me the picture looked dark brown.....

and that the back has a fold. I was hoping to avoid a folded back. And I'm just starting to realize you're not going to get a straight back unless you go totally wood, but at least the fold in this shelf isn't really obvious.

BUT, Problems started with the cam dowels joining.  The joints would not & could not stay together under stress with normal use.  I am using "L" braces holding in place w/wood screws...even after partial reinforcement the book case is alot less wobbly & MORE stable & sturdy.  The help that I got from Bret was outstanding.
