My hair turn orange after using another product and what I wanted was a nice shade of auburn. So I gave this product a shot and it fixed the orange tone in my hair. My hair is softer and a more natural shade that I was looking for. I have a lot of gray and this was perfect for it. Not too dark and no orange cast.

I used L'Oreal Excellence Creme for the first time after being disappointed with other brands' "ash brown" tones looking brassy and having poor gray coverage. This is by far the best product I've used to both minimize red/orange undertones AND cover 100% of my stubborn grays! The thick creme was very easy to apply evenly and did not drip. I left the dye on for the max 40-45 min, so my hair turned out slightly darker than expected but was perfect after a few washes. The final result is a shiny, rich ash brown color that feels so soft and natural!

I've used a lightening product for many years but with more and more gray hair coming in, I needed something with color. I was so happy to find this product that does lightening and coloring in one step. Product was very easy to use and produced a beautiful color.

Have always loved the perfect color, shine and softness of Loreal Excellence Creme. Just tried the new Triple Care Color product and LOVE it!! While my grays seemed to reappear quicker than normal, the colored areas were still beautiful, shiny and soft.

With quite a bit of experience under my belt coloring at home, I switched to Excellence 5rb from a similar color in another L'Oreal line. It came out far redder and far darker than on the box, on the in store strand sample and on my strand test. When looking for online help with hair coloring errors I found this particular color mentioned a few times when begging for help among brunettes. Wished I would have seen that before my problem.

I loved this 10 ultimate natural blonde. I used it for years. When I had my hair cut the stylist would ask what I used and said how great it looked. But now you changed it. It has a red brassy color. Also it is thick like glue to apply. Please change it back! I just do my roots and now I have half and half hair. Top half red blonde and bottom half pretty natural blonde. Help!

I almost always use L'Oreal color. I've tried a couple of other brands and was disappointed EVERY time. (One brand gave me hair the exact shade of Carrot Top! It was supposed to be auburn.) So, I'm done experimenting with brands--I will not bother with anything else--I ONLY use L'Oreal.

I understand that I have naturally very dark hair, but i was hoping to change my hair to a little bit lighter of a color so I used a box about 6 shades lighter than my hair to do so. Not a single change. I used as directed and there is no change of color by even half a shade. All i got left with is my hair smelling like bleach still and no results to show for it.

Light Ash Brown 6A and Mocha Ash Brown 6AB, mixed, is what I actually use. This has been the only product that has dyed my grays. My hair is about 5-10% gray. I don't have so many grays, I know, but the ones I have are super stubborn. My only complaint is that though these are "ash tones" my hair still has a slight coppery tone to it. Not a horrible shade, but more than I would prefer. I use ash tones to minimize brassiness. Overall, however, good hair dye.

I've been using Loreal Excellence for so many years I can't remember. I have just used the creme for the first time today and I'm so disappointed. The greys are all still there. I've never had this happen before in all the years I've used it? What has Loreal done to this product? The worst thing is I bought 2. I'm really angry about this, I'd have been as well not bothering to dye my hair at all for all the difference it's it's NOT made. This used to give great grey coverage??? What's happened. I will have to find a new dye now hat does what it says.
