The new thicker formula is terrible. It does not mix well even after minutes of shaking. The formula stays chunky. The applicator tip is too small for the thicker cream. Along with other reviews the color doesn't seem to cover as well as the old formula and does not last. I hate to switch to a different brand and am worried that I will not find a color match but the new formula does not meet my color needs

I loved the color as it looks on the box but not how it turned out. I used this dye after using shade 56. It's was three weeks since I last dyed it with 56 so it has lightened up. This shade(362) turned my hair almost black. It should be sold as a berry black instead.

I am searching for a replacement of my Vidal Sassoon runway red 66R and this was the closest by picture I could find just not as brilliant and it looked like was more towards the coppery side. How wrong was I! This shade is more towards the burgundy Mahogany side I ended up buying 2 boxes because I knew I would need all over coverage for my long hair to switch shades now my hair is a hideous purple brown with a hint of copper. Be warned DO NOT TRUST THE PICTURE ON THE BOX. Now I need to strip my hair and I guess I will go copper with another brand.

I love garnier dye because it's simple to use, and leaves hair healthy...sometimes healthier, shiny but sometimes too shiny, and smells wonderful, but this darkest brown #30 is more of a black shade. I'm sorry Garnier, but you need to call this color black brown or something or just remove it all together because it's just wayyyy too dark to be considered a brown. It's very very similar to #20 soft black which I respect because even though that comes out jet black, at least you called it black! I'm a bit upset because I wanted my tresses in the brown family just not so sandy looking, now I have Uber shiny black Elvira hair ugh...and the 3star is for color misrepresentation not quality

I have used Gatnier Nutrisse for years and would have even salon stylists as about my color, I loved it! But I absolutely hate the thicker formula!! It is almost impossible to get out of the bottle and has to be squeezed so hard that my hand is in agony by the time I'm done. I hate that it I so thick that there is zero room for error in placement, it won't move or soak in like it did before. Sadly this may be the end of my LONG relationship with Garnier :(

Been using this for 10 years, never fails. My hair is a medium/dark ash blonde (almost brown) - this can get my hair close to platinum (with the help of toners after). Consistent spreading - very smooth hair afterwards. I drench my hair in coconut oil first to help keep it moist, even, and to help protect my hair - I recommend doing this! You can use a bit of apple cider vinegar diluted in a spray bottle to help close your hair cuticles after too (look up online to learn more). Also, you can rehydrate your hair using jojoba oil after.

Since I've been dying my hair myself, I always use Garnier Nutrisse. I've tried other brands but Garnier has the best selection of colors especially for brunettes. The color always comes out the most natural looking. The main reason I color my hair is to cover my greys that I seem to be getting more and more lately and getting it colored at a salon can be expensive especially when you want it done right. With Garnier Nutrisse color you get the professional look without paying the salon prices.

Garnier, please explain to me why my hair is a dark green and not #30 darkest brown? Appreciate the thicker creme and after color conditioner. But after thoroughly mixing everything together and seeing it turn green in the bottles should have been an indication that something wasn't right. Used this brand/color for years now and never had this issue.

Used Butternut (80) hair color for many years and loved the color. Purchased the one with the new packaging and used it last month and it did not cover the white roots and left my hair a terrible light color, Decided to give it another chance and colored it again today and left the color on longer, got the same lousy results, a light mousy dull color. Will not use that color again. Why did you change a good product?
