I was very surprised at first sight. It was a very light color.....almost white. When I first applied it under the eye....again I was thinking it was too light. Then it starts to match my shade. I was amazed at the match. Love this now!!

I have bought this several times. It does a great job concealing my dark spots. I just dap a little on each spot and then pat it with 2 fingers until it is blended in. I highly recommend it.

I love this concealer.

I've struggle with red blotches on my cheeks for over a decade now.  My skin is temperamental which would cause me anxiety until I found this concealer.  I also have light olive skin so finding the right shade is always an issue.  I've used smart shade for at least 5 years now and nothing beats it!  I put a light dab over my problem areas and pat it in-- it blends in perfectly!  I hardly use makeup and love how this doesn't cake or sit on my skin.

Great concealer for rosacea

I bought this product to test out before my wedding day. I'm glad I tested it. I do love it, it is really great but not for the dark circles. I first used it for blemishes that I had around my nose and mouth. Once I put the foundation on (I use a mineral foundation) you couldn't even tell that anything was on my face. It works great for those red spots. But the second time I used it I was trying to cover up the dark circles under my eyes and a blemish. The blemish part worked great but when I put it under my eyes I about died! It made me look like I got punched! My fiancee just gave me this weird look. I thought it was the lighting, we were in a hotel on vacation, so we went outside on the balcony. Nope, I still looked like I had gotten into a bar fight. So, even after the foundation didn't help matters I took it off and started over. I am still searching for something to cover my dark circles. I started getting them over the last six weeks cause I can't sleep. I'm too excited about the wedding to sleep! I would give this product five stars but it says it is good for dark circles and it isn't but it did work for what I origionally bought it for. Plus I found it at Big Lots for only $3 so I think I got a really good deal. And it doesn't take much for this to work so it will last. And it stays on all day and I never felt like I had something heavy on my face. I'm all about trying to look natural, I rarely wear make up, and I like the airy feel when I do wear make up. This product really made me happy because it met those things.

Good For blemishes

Because of my sensitive eyes, the products I put on my face have to be hypo-allergenic. Almay works for me as I only wear concealer. In the past, I've bought several tubes that weren't mixed very well which was very annoying for the high price I paid. This tube is mixed well.

Conceal your true age with Almost concealer

My first tube of this concealer worked wonderfully and that's why I bought a second one.  Unfortunately,  just one-fourth of they way  into the new tube,  the concealer started to separate.  I kept trying to mix it together - the beige concealer with a dark brown liquid that also came out.  I finally got tired of trying to make it work and just threw it out.

Gave up and finally threw it out
