I have been searching for months for get my husband the weights he wanted but the rubber ones were the most expensive so I waited and I am so glad I did. Found these and was so overly pleased with the ordering process the shipping cost the sale price of items and how  absolutely great the actual product is. They came double boxed, all in individual packages too. He is thrilled with them. and I am happy with the experience.

Great product, Quality and Price

It weighs 70lb so it is what it is. But after 50lb they could improve grip. The outer smooth surface is not great when you’re curling or doing hammer curls.

Kinda dirty and stinks

Synopsis: Solid dumbbells for a great price, but be warned, there is a lot of variation in the weight of the dumbbells themselves. 

CAP dumbbells are among some of the most affordable rubber dumbbells out on the market today. You will be hard-pressed to find a better price/quality combination with any other manufacture of rubber dumbbells. The knurling in the middle on CAPs is also exactly what you want and need for grip. Not too much that it tears your hands apart but also not smooth where you feel like you are always losing grip.

The one downside of CAPs that I have found is the wide range when it comes to how much each one weighs. I outfitted the garage gym I built for my girlfriend with a lot of CAP dumbbells and have found ranges similar to the ones seen with my images I attached to the review. 29.2 is a bit light but acceptable for a cheap rubber dumbbells but 28.6 is a bit too light for my comfort. A rule of thumb I always tell my girlfriend and would be smart for anyone using non-calibrated dumbbells is to switch the weight each set if you are doing multiple sets at the same weight to avoid any imbalances like the one you see with my two 30lb dumbbells. 

Overall the price is amazing for dumbbells--enough so that I can look beyond the weight discrepancies. Definitely snag these DBs when they are on sale.

Great Value for Dumbbells

All the dumbbells I’ve ordered the boxes they came in was totally destroyed.
They might as well shipped all my dumbbells without putting them in any box. Just shipped them.
Because FedEx didn’t take any pride in their handling them.
I bought 3 sets of dumbbells and all the boxes looked like the photos

I have a full set of these, 15s-70s. They are the absolute best new dumbbells for this price point. No, they arent top quality. But you'd pay 2-3 times more for the best. These dumbbells do the job and have great quality to value ratio. The main down-side to these is that they can weight up to 4lbs off. I've had to return a couple for this reason. If you have one 4lbs too heavy, and one 4lbs too light, thats 8lbs off between "same size" dumbbells!! So make sure you weigh them when you receive them. A 1lb tolerance is acceptable to me, and most of them are pretty close to advertised weight, but make sure when you get them. All around, good dumbbells.

Amazing for the price, but weigh them before use.

I ordered 22 dumbbells and nine came in damaged, from scratches to chunks of rubber missing.  Ended up returning 8 and reordering so hopefully the new 8 come in ok or else I will have to return more.  The 9th one I just found big scratches on it today.

Dissappointed in quality of dumbbells I received

I bought this to complete a pair since I found a cheap single 60 pound rogue fitness dumbbell on Facebook Marketplace. I was waiting for a deal and found these. The good news is, this is practically identical to the Rogue fitness dumbbell minus the molded number and brand of course.

The bad is, the dumbbell came with the coating cracked already. If you have OCD or are really picky about your things being in perfect condition don’t buy these online. Normally this would bug me but I got it on sale and I don’t feel like bothering with return shipping for a 60 pound dumbbell. 

Anyway, these will do what you need them to do. I guess that’s what’s important. As long as they’re on sale I’ll buy more.

Came cracked…

Not going to lie, I got these because they were the cheapest I found, but one of them is flaking paint? Rubber? ...Some abnormal material and creating a mess I don't need. I don't know the level of safety here with having kids and dogs and some sort of material falling off from free weights and getting all over me and my space.
